This app was great until recent update. Now I have to login EVERY TIME I use it and now I have re-enter ALL my info (personal, store AND card number). This is why I try to resist updates unless I have an issue or am sadly forced to do so. It worked perfectly fine before. Why mess with something already great??

Disappointed

Kaplan 1

With the new update I was sad to see the item search was taken away. I used that to find products and navigate through the store. Very disappointed in that.

Never works.

There are a few things on this app which are majorly irritating to me - I’ll start with the most annoying one: The Friday freebie deal. My friend told me about this amazing hidden secret a while ago. You go to the coupons part in the app and type in the word “freebie.” Up pops one or two free items for the week which start Friday and go through Thursday. It was so fun and exciting for me to see what the item of the week would be. I would go to cub foods and grab my free item, along with the other few items I needed for the rest of the week. But, This feature has not been working for about the past five or six months. Every single time I open the app, and I mean every single time, I have to update, another time-wasting annoyance. I update it and type in freebie and nothing shows up yet I shop around cub foods and see these big displays with the freebie item that I can’t get and wonder if anyone else out there is able to get it. It doesn’t matter which device I use or what operating system it is on. It never works. Hasn’t for the longest time. I’ve given up on it because it makes me so irritated. Second majorly annoying thing: my cell phone alerts me that I’m in cub foods and to use my barcode. I tap on the main screen to open up my barcode. I scan the barcode and it says item not recognized. I type in my two different phone numbers and nothing shows up. So no fuel discount for me. I finally realized that I have to actually go into my phone and open the actual app and use that barcode. That barcode works but the quick-easy-accessible one doesn’t. This app has more updates than I’ve ever seen on any app that I’ve ever used. And each and every time (which is literally once a week) I update, I cross my fingers that the freebie item will work. Never does. I’ve wasted so much time with this app. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Horrible

I loved this app 6 months ago. Now it’s crap. The best feature was being able to add items to my shopping list & having those items show up on the store map.I also appreciated the convenience of having my Cub card in the app. Neither of those features work anymore. I no longer have a map appear to guide me & my cub card won’t scan at the check out. I’m deleting the app.

Am I getting the coupon price or not?

Surly customer

I'm under the belief that if I show the app on my phone and let the cashier scan the barcode, I get the sale price on everything without needing any coupons. Reading other reviews I wonder is this true, or do I have to input each coupon? If that's the case, I'll go back to tearing them out of the little newsprint books or just avoiding the hassle at Byerly's.

Hire some developers

This app is clearly not ready for prime time. Can’t log in, even though I know my password, and it complies with the password requirements. Also, using the app makes me feel like I’m using a much older version of iOS. Clearly was not built for current versions of the os. Even worse, the “email us” feature seems to be broken, which all just makes it seem like this app was built with a skeleton crew staff. Great potential, missing the mark on the easy stuff. Will update my review if they update the app.

Great savings!

A must-download app.

Love the new app!!!

Nightz

I love all the features that have been added! Makes it super quick and easy to add coupons, make shopping lists, using the card!! And NOW 3D Touch to get to your card quickly. I LOVE this app!!

Intergrate Cub Rewards & Apple Pay

Been Waiting Here

It would be nice to get Cub Rewards and Apple Pay feature integrated, the code has been available for almost a year. Why pull out a rewards card and then pay with Apple Pay when it can be done at the same time. Secondly, why not just add all the coupons automatically to the app. Customers should create a shopping list not add the coupons or maybe have an option, so you can do either. I absolutely love using Apple Pay at Cub Stores.

Do Not Like the App

TakenOne

Giving this one star only because I have to. Have tried to use it 3x and it failed each time. Each time the app failed to add coupons to my account. Check out persons were not able to help and I didn't want to delay the line any further.
