They took away the single most beneficial feature away from the Mobile iPhone app. Facial Recognition/Touch ID. This is nothing more than a mimic of the mobile banking just like you get from the browser. I was hoping our patience during the core conversion was going to be well worth it. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. #Bummed

This has got to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. The old one wasn’t the greatest but this is absolute trash. Layout is awful. Looks like an app from 10 years ago. This is so bad and this new core upgrade has been such a mess that I am planning to switch to U of I Credit Union. Nothing about this has been an upgrade. Very disappointed.


Awful user interface for a simple application

This application was clearly shipped before being tested by users as it has many bugs and usability issues. For example, if I open the side menu and go to settings, the menu doesn’t disappear and I can’t actually make changes to my settings. I wanted to look at my payment history for my mortgage, but the search interface is confusing and provides no information. The only search ranges they allow are 3 days and 15 days, which is pointless as most payments are made monthly so you’ll ever only see one payment. They didn’t implement fingerprint security, so you have to enter your username and password every time you want to login. Lastly it looks like they just took their web application and tried to make an app out of it. Given their web app is also not user friendly, they were going to fail from the start. This is awful execution on an application that is fairly simple and has no complex animation or images. I’m very disappointed in CCCU and the developer they chose to work with. I’m embarrassed to think a company responsible for my financial security could produce and stand behind this garbage.

They removed Touch ID. This app deforms the screen in a zoomed in manner. This is also just a crapper wrapper for their mobile website.

Need A LOT of Work

This app is not helpful at all. I like the old one as it made everything simpler, and was fast to log into. This is not the case for this one. It also has a lot of things that I don’t need in a mobile banking app. I hope that they clean it up and make it easier to use, and more compatible with newer phones. This looks like it was optimized for an iPhone 4. Please, work on updates to make it more like the other one.

The app does not work well with my phone. I was asked to bring my phone into the branch so they could look at what issues I was having. I understand core conversions are necessary for long term growth, but unfortunately to me the mobile app missed the mark.

The core conversion has been a terrible f-up. No one but the stupid ceo is to blame for her utter lack of care for the customer experience. She should resign or hang herself.

I’m not sure what to say. I guess I’ll get used to this it is difficult to understand what was wrong with the previous version. If they weren’t ready to put this out with all prior info(currently only 45 days?) then they shouldn’t have instituted. Not particularly user friendly.

I have done nothing but struggle with the new app. The old one was simple and user friendly. I keep checking to see if someone has fixed this abomination but so far they have not.
