Awful user interface for a simple application – Collins Community CU Mobile Review

This application was clearly shipped before being tested by users as it has many bugs and usability issues. For example, if I open the side menu and go to settings, the menu doesn’t disappear and I can’t actually make changes to my settings. I wanted to look at my payment history for my mortgage, but the search interface is confusing and provides no information. The only search ranges they allow are 3 days and 15 days, which is pointless as most payments are made monthly so you’ll ever only see one payment. They didn’t implement fingerprint security, so you have to enter your username and password every time you want to login. Lastly it looks like they just took their web application and tried to make an app out of it. Given their web app is also not user friendly, they were going to fail from the start. This is awful execution on an application that is fairly simple and has no complex animation or images. I’m very disappointed in CCCU and the developer they chose to work with. I’m embarrassed to think a company responsible for my financial security could produce and stand behind this garbage.
