This is a great app for reading ebooks. The other app I have for reading library books is Overdrive, and this one is by far the best. It easily switches between my galaxy phone and iPad and picks up where I stopped reading in the most recent device. It's easy to search for, borrow, read, and return books. It's also easy to store books in a flagged list that I'm interested in reading in the future. I only use Overdrive if a book is not available in CloudLibrary.

Two page view?

I’ve just downloaded the app to use my library’s ebook collection to feed my late night book habit. Most features seem fine, though it’s not nearly as nice as iBooks or Kindle, other than the page view, which is really annoying. I can’t seem to figure out how to view two pages like an open book. I’ve looked online and the you tube tutorials show a two page view, but I can’t find any switch to turn it on. Better documentation? Does this truly not work or is it hidden.

iPhone X issue

After the latest iOS update the app has issues with the iPhone X display. While reading a book, the top and bottom of the page are outside of the viewable area. This makes it impossible to read a portion of the first line and obscures the page footer. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app or doing a cold start does not cure the problem.

Pretty good app

This is a good app for audio and ebooks. Sound quality is good and user friendly in my experience. However it does have some issues that should be fixed. 1) some audio chapters do not seem to download correctly. Therefore it should be possible to re-download an individual chapter or at least the entire book. If this is currently possible it’s not easy to figure out 2) On one occasion I was notified an ebook was available but when I checked the app (same day) it wasn’t available. Not sure what happened there.

iPhone X

The app was just updated for the iPhone X and could not have been tested. The words are cut off by the top notch making the app useless. I am not sure how this passed QA with this defect. I am very disappointed because I thought it worked great up to this point.

I have been using this app for at least 3+ years. I have saved a lot of money since I started using it - especially since I had bought so many books on iBooks. Now I don’t buy them unless it is not Cloud library.

I have been using this app for a few months. I love the idea of being able to check out ebooks through your public library. This app serves that purpose, to an extent. The user interface is slow and the app itself looks outdated. Browsing by categories can be confusing as well. More recently, in the newest update, for iPhone X users the notch at the top of the screen covers parts of the sentences. There is no way to display these missing parts, making reading on the device impossible.
