The Damyo Dynamo

I want every ebook and audiobook this easy to find. I just wish the selection was a lot bigger.

I am very happy with this app. I can always find something engaging, no matter what my mood. It is easy to use and I love being able to put a book on hold knowing I will be notified when it is available. I also like the bookmarking.

Disappointed in my library

I am disappointed that my library switched from Overdrive. CloudLibrary is not easy to use to browse. I can’t check out ebooks in Kindle format. If there is a way to request that the library purchase a title, I can’t find it. The app keeps opening to the book list and I have to open the book I’m reading. Overdrive is better and Kindle even more so.

So I got this app, signed up, went thru the hassle for a particular book (my library system doesn’t have a print version, go figure) and the dang thing won’t open. I even returned it and reborrowed it, same problem. Free app, but still disappointing.

Love the audiobook. Sign up was easy and quick. Love the app! Finding books to checkout is easier than my Library’s website.

I started using the library about a year ago. It has been easy to use. The only thing I would like to have the option to renew rather than having to return and go back in and download again (previous app had that option). I enjoy the convenience and appreciate the variety of books available.

Pick up where you left off

Almost a five star. Only thing they can improve is to be like audible where are you can pick up where you left off. Where are you can read from one device, stop pick up another device and still be on the same page whatever device you're on. Then that would make the five stars. Otherwise it's a good app.

Sorry but a step backwards

This was the one I used to recommend. But books only available online doesn’t cut it. No internet on airplanes, cruise ships, overseas or on the beach. Very disappointed. Last two books I tried would not download.

Something new!!!!!! I cannot browse any books!!!! The page is completely blank. Perfect. Just perfect. The playback errors are ridiculous. Every ten minutes, I have to close the app and reopen it. Cannot do that while driving so this app is becoming virtually useless to me. Secondly, the sleep timer NEVER works. If I fall asleep, hours of the book play and I waste my phone energy as well as completely losing track of where I am. What a joke. Of course, for many of us, we have no choice as this is the system of choice for many public libraries. Shame on them for ditching the perfectly wonderful system they used before for this piece of worthless junk.
