Wonderful Application

Very convenient for Parents and Guardians as well as Students in regards to communicate with School Personnel regarding anything school related. Only thing I don’t like is when the Application tends to freeze up quite often.

Photo upload is not loading according to order pick. Seems like photos were loaded in the order in the camera roll and not the order I choose. It’s nice sharing information with parents but it’ll be nice if there’s a share later or scheduled share at a later time (i.e., create now but share tomorrow or another time). I like to pre made some stuffs but don’t want yo post it up until another time so I don’t have to do it at the time of wanting to post. 2/7; looks like there’s glitch in loading pictures.

Keeps crashing on iPhone when trying to upload picture to send in a message. The previous update was supposed to fix the lag issue when loading and sending messages but the problem still exists. There’s no clear Chat history function in the message box which would be useful to clear some older messages. Edit: updated review as of: 2/7/2022 It seems after the recent update btwn 2/4 til now, the issue has been resolved.
Homework and site

Not friendly user at all. Kids should be allowed to check their own homework assignments. Assignments should be given at school not wasting a child’s time at home trying to get on a computer and find the assignment. They should be allowed to ask questions about their homework on their school time.

I would give zero stars if Apple allowed me to do so. Let me start by saying I do not want to use this software in the first place. I don’t need to know the minutiae of my kids’ day at school. As an engaged parent, we talk at dinner every night about how their day was and what happened. Unfortunately for me, other parents apparently don’t mind getting minute by minute updates on their children. If this were not required by the school, I would not use the software at all. Where I get extremely frustrated is the constant nagging for me to buy a subscription to premium content when I don’t even want the free content. I find this app beyond obnoxious and would love for educators to focus on teaching rather than updating unnecessary software. Since I’m in the minority, my request is that the developer of ClassDojo offer the option to turn off the pestering requests to upgrade to something I never wanted in the first place. I will never upgrade this software and find the constant requests to upgrade make me dislike the software even more than I did before.
