Terrific way to keep up with chores

I’ve been looking for a way to keep on top of household chores so they don’t pile up. I always end up having to do a massive cleaning before guests come over. This app has completely solved my procrastination problem and the house has never looked better. I assign certain tasks to my husband, certain tasks to myself, and others as claimable. We claim chores when we have free time and add things as we think of them. Scheduling is easy—every other day, weekly, monthly, whatever. Love, love, love this app!!!!!

One Annoying Flaw

This app has everything you need for tracking and assigning chores with other people. There is one SUPER annoying thing though that makes it so frustrating to use. When you add a chore to the list, you also add the date that it is due and how often it should be done. So let's say I say a chore should be done this Sunday and then repeated every week. Well let's say Sunday comes around and no one does the chore, but then someone finally gets around to it on Wednesday. You would then assume the chore would not be due until the next Wednesday right? Well in this app, it is still due the next Sunday! This annoys me so much because if you do chores later then they are scheduled, the next ones are due way too soon and you end up in this dumb endless loop of chores always needed to be done when they don't. If you want to change the date you have to manually go in and edit the chore. I really wish they would fix this, it would then be the perfect chore app for me.

To be able to make your own categories would be useful. Each room could be a category then expands into a list of things to do for that room

I purchased the app primarily to make chores a bit for fun for my two boys ages 10 and 13. They love it. The "fight" over unclaimed chores. I reward myself also because I e turned over a new leaf to Declutter and stay organized. I found the pay-as-you-go option worth it for my home. Very happy! ?
