I like the reminders and it's a good idea to be able to share with others in your house. I will love this when my kids are old enough to have phones and help!

Tasks each roommate with a chore. Reminds them to do it. Everyone can see if they haven't. Rotates chores automatically. It's essentially perfect. Would love for it to incorporate venmo for fining roommates and contributing to cleaning supplies.

I am mediately received a warning upon opening the app for the first time stating "Chorma" May slow down your iPhone. The developer of this app it needs to update it to improve compatibility. I had to click OK to continue then immediately close the ap. Will now be deleting that app from my phone.

Ok not literally but we were always having lots of fights about who does more chores than the other and this app leveled the playing field. Plus it gives the option to reward the winner every month with a reward of choice!!

This app doesn't work with iOS 10. The function to automatically rotate chores among housemates (half the reason I wanted the app) isn't supported. When I contacted Chorma to ask what was up, I was told "Unfortunately there is a bug in iOS 10 that affects switches in Chorma. We have asked Apple to fix it, but they have not responded. The only solution for us is to re-write the app in a way that means users with older iOS devices can no longer use Chorma. Could you help us ask Apple to fix this issue by following these steps?" I'm not going to plead with Apple to fix your app for you.
Good but needs an update

I was looking for an app for chores that would enable a reward system for which my kids could be responsible. Unlike chore charts, this app follows them with their phones and sends reminders about chores that need to be done. We have been using it for about 6 months and it has been extremely effective in motivating my kids, taking the nagging off my plate, and visibly showing my kids how they can earn what they want. It has a couple of annoying issues though: 1) I wish I could look up a housemember and see what they specifically need to do. I can do that for me, but I can't tap another individual and see their list of chores. All chores are viewed on one big list which is aggravating when you have several kids and a lot of chores split among the family. 2)The repeat from done feature doesn't work, so if I list a chore as needing to be done daily such as making the bed, it keeps on getting listed every day even if the chore hasn't been done. So if my kid didn't make his bed Monday through Thursday, on Friday those prior days are still listed as needing to be done. It should be possible for the chore to update to the next day and not continually repeat, unless the chore was completed. There is a setting to do that but it doesn't work. As it stands now, I have to manually delete the days that no longer apply which is annoying. 3)I also think the app needs to update to the new operating system, I get notices that it slows my phone because it doesn't have an update with the latest IOS. All in all, it's a really good app and does what I want well. Fixing the above issues would definitely give it 5 stars instead of 4.

This app is just what I was looking for to keep organized with my new house! My boyfriend and I have been using it for a few months now and it keeps chores straight.
