Chessimo´s ® innovative approach to chess training is based on repeatedly solving real game situations chosen by the Brazilian GM Gilberto Milos. The exercises are sorted by themes (tactics, strategy, endgames) and severity.
Chessimo ® helps you improve your basic knowledge of tactics, endgames, openings and strategy in a playful way. Each exercise demonstrates interactive training and asks you for the correct answer to a question posed by the software.

After the game is over Chessimo ® will display your personal Elo rating, which you may register with the Apple Game Center for inclusion in a high score list of all registered Chessimo ® users.

My pieces look different than the one pictured in the app when you buy it. The king and queen are hard to tell apart.how do I get the pieces that are shown in the diagram on App Store? The training is great and gives one great pattern recognition . Change the pieces and I will give you a 5 star rating.

Would have been a 4 star but, annoying messages not allowing me to train. Begging me to rate the app. This is what you get. Otherwise a clean efficient way to train tactics when you have a second.

Great way to practice, but I wish the top of the screen showed a less cramped top of the board, so there was more visibility of the pieces.

Helps to sharpen the users memory of certain positions and to the decide the best move. Sadly this doesn't progress to two move puzzle but alas, perhaps in the future there will be an app that will do just that.
