1) no syncing. example: imagine only studying on your iPhone for 120 days. You get a new iPad for Christmas? Sorry kid, you have to start over now. 2) Facebook login doesn't work. Busy more importantly, why do I need to share stuff on Facebook? Why can't Facebook help me sync progress? 3) support link is broken. 4) good material Overall, until they let me sync or export/import my progress, this app would be great in the 1990s.

Using this program and tactical training method, I was able to gain 400+ USCF rating points in just 3 months. Look me up on the USCF site: Jules Carter

This software is almost brilliant, but needs a few tweaks before getting there. First off, I am a low rated player and not in a position to comment on the strategic suggestions nor quality of the more nuanced coaching. After the demo, I purchased all the modules. First, the good: the tactical exercises are outstanding and include much repetition and a gradual increase in difficulty. If you're looking for an airplane application to practice when chesstempo.com is not available, this is perfect. Some areas which could be improved: - The program doesn't follow standard algebraic notation. It's clear enough, but not sure why it would use something other than the standard. This is clearly translated app, perhaps these are regional differences between Brasil and the US? - The tactical excises (units) are quite long. Even on a long plane ride I'm usually not capable of completing 130 exercises straight through. You loose focus during the longer sessions. - The non-tactical exercises (endgames/openings) are lacking instruction and aren't standalone. They are good drills, but you'll need an opening book and good endgame book to round things out. Overall combined with some other resources in my library, this is a good trainer to supplement other learning guides, but falls short of being a complete training tool.

Bought the bundle for iPad, not available on iPhone. Otherwise good trainer.

I find the commentary in the tactics exercises helpful. Perhaps beginning the end game and strategy units with a brief explanation about what is the unifying lesson (i.e. pinning, knight check mates, etc.) might be might the goal clearer?

This is the training software that I have hoped for. It is intuitive and does exactly what is best for my style of learning. Thanks for this great software!
