Advice for the developers: study apps like Lumosity and Duolingo to learn more about "gamifying" learning. Then hire some UX and UI freelancers to give the whole app a visual overhaul. Great content but fix the user experience and the aesthetic.

Great for keeping tactics honed, haven’t had a chance to really dive into the other sections, but am sure they are likewise great.

I have a USCF rating of about 1950. The app provides interactive lessons that cover the essential aspects of chess- tactics, strategy, and endgames. The lessons start out very basic but very slowly get more challenging. I’ve been using this app a lot for about 6 months and I’ve only completed 5% of the lessons. There’s a ton of material. It’s simply the best training program I’ve ever used. Although it does review openings, a tournament player needs more information- books, databases, DVDs to make an opening repertoire. Kudos to the developers for creating this awesome tool and making it affordable!
Great chess app but devs gave up

The last update was a year ago and it was minor. For its intended purposes it’s a great app but suffers from a lack of TLC from the devs. They should sell it to someone willing to update their app.
