Just when I was ready to give up on online dating, I met the most amazing guy on this app, who is now my boyfriend. I highly recommend this app to guys who want an alternative to the typical hook-up and dating sites, just as I did. The best thing about it, it actually works! Thank you Chappy!

DELETED APP! Chappy was adamant in that it was different from other apps and that “Discrimination of any kind is forbidden” (watch their video). Yet they do not allow the option to NOT display your age. The app does not allow you to divulge your race, weight, height, fem, masc, nor transgender, so why insist on showing age? I get that they need it for verification and that’s ok. But do not display it and if users really demand it, they may ask that question if/once they match!!! Here are some other tips and suggestions... how about providing more features for people to search and focus on talent, brains and culture. For instance put check boxes in for folks to search if they are interested in the arts, food and wine, outdoors and what level of hiker they are etc? Do they swim, jog, kayak, camp or whatever... the list goes on. All I see is a Tinder look-a-like app to swipe left or right? The only “big” thing is a slider bar up top to see if you or the other person is Mr right now or in two minds or whatever. Definitely not the expectation that the video sets you up for. Shame on the developers and entrepreneurs. VERY LACKING in expectation and execution indeed. However I give you 100% for great marketing and knowing the touch points of the gay dating community. At least you know about it. Pity you didn’t develop anything substantial that addresses the items in your video. Quite disappointed. I know you guys have the talent to pull it off. Try again!

Love the seamless functionality. It’s like Tinder but with the option to choose just the type of interaction you’re looking for. Swiping through profiles and photos is a breeze. Happy I don’t have limited likes! If you’re looking for the real deal, look no further!
It says it’s built to prevent discrimination...but...

This app was created to prevent discrimination on basis of race, gender identity, religion, or disability. But there isn’t anything that differentiates this app from tinder! You swipe left or right just on first glance of a guy! How the hell is this supposed to curb discrimination????

Omg this thing is a joke. Claims to be non-discriminatory but requires you to be part of the Facebook community to join. What a load of crap. Practice what you preach! And spare me the bot response that you sent to every other reviewer that complained about this.

Realistically all these dating apps have the same people on them. However, I like that Chappy is commitment to creating a non hateful and inclusive online dating environment.
Having location issues

Seems like the location filter is off. I’m seeing profiles of people that say LA based, and then after matching a couple hours later they are based across the country. Should be a way to lock in your location so that when traveling you aren’t seeing guys out of your area.
