Notifications seem to be all or nothing, and this app regularly pushes ones that are only meant to push you to log-in—not related to matches or messages.

I’ve uploaded several pictures that are well within the photo rules that they have, however all of them were rejected. So I guess black people are not welcome. 1 star rating. Response to developer: It was NO mistake. I submitted the same classy pictures over and over, and they were rejected. On the other side, I saw plenty of shirtless white guys showing their butt. Y’all are just racist and don’t want no one to know. I’m not wasting my time emailing you. I deleted my account and I would give you a worse rating if I could.

With Tinder, OKCupid and Bumble all relying on matches, there is nothing unique about this app. In fact OKcupid is better because people put more effort on their profiles than just posting multiple pics. It also doesn’t delete old profiles so you can be swiping at nothing.

Better then grinder as this apps shows u are looking for more then hook up. Just bad u can’t message unless u are match... been on 3 weeks and nothing . Better if I can message as sometimes when u talk u Lear a lot on person not just waiting for a match .

Information App Requests Are Too Intrusive

The app asks for information that I find too intrusive. Specifically asking for my university AND the year graduated and the company I work for. I’m concerned that the level of information sets me up for identity theft.

I started using Chappy less than 24 hours ago. So far I’m really enjoying my experience with the app. In terms of reliability, performance, and stability, the app works wonderfully. I HATE when some of these apps like tinder suffer from stability problems. It’s annoying having to close and reopen all the time. Chappy works perfectly. Chappy has a modern, elegant design that is easy and makes sense. You have people looking for dates, people looking for Ltr or commitment, and then you have a low pressure, friends environment. I love the idea of tabbing these out and the friends feature is really neat! I started chatting with some guys as friends and I really enjoy the low pressure simplicity of the experience. I haven’t scored any dates on the app yet, but in terms of population, the app has a lot of people on it. I also like that Chappy doesn’t exactly force you into a payment plan or force you into an unnecessary scheme. The only way to really get more premium features is to wait 24 hours OR refer friends of yours to download the app, which is great marketing. Overall, I am enjoying my experience with Chappy. It’s a modern dating app and has all the same features as tinder, bumble, scruff, etc. I honesty think it does the swipe mechanic a little better. Especially with the chatting system as well. Keep up the good work and thank you for prioritizing app stability and performance. Please keep that as a priority as you continue to grow! Because nothing is more annoying than a slow app! Thanks again!
