Just a question. How long should expect to get matches after just signing up? I signed up this morning. I have a pretty broad range of interests. I have a bio. Photos. And I signed up early this morning and swiped quite a bit. And have yet to get ANY matches. Kinda irritating. But I'm not sure if it's just me being impatient haha.

In a world filled with dating apps that beg you to pay a subscription fee for basic features like rewinds or seeing more profiles, Chappy manages to feel like a complete and polished experience on its own with no subscriptions or ads. Chappy delivers on its promises and more. When I first heard about the app it was advertised as only for guy's looking for Mr. Right, which had me feeling skeptical because I didn't see any deterrent stopping guys from just using it like Tinder and disguising their intentions. However, the app's cleverly designed scale incentivizes honesty about your expectations in order to get anything out of your matches, and allows all the "Mr. Right Now" guys to find each other without weeding through the "Mr. Right" guys and vise versa. The swiping takes a minute to get used to because it's different from other similar apps like Tinder, but in the long run the up and down scrolling contrasted with the left and right decision making ensures you don't end up with any accidental matches. Another feature (or possibly bug) that I appreciate is that if you're having a hard time deciding whether or not to like the guy in front of you, you can shuffle the profiles and come back to him later without having to make a binding decision by simply switching your swipe category and then coming back. If this is an intended feature though, it would probably be better suited for a button than switching back and forth so that everyone else can discover it as well. On the topic of possible improvements to look into in the future, being able to crop or resize our profile pictures would be nice. I'd also like to know exactly what the spark button does because the description is sort of vague at the moment. Finally, I don't know what effect the degree you slide to one side or another has on your pool of matches (i.e. Being half way between "Mr. Who knows" and "Mr. Right" seems to just completely classify you as in the "Mr. Right" category), and if that's the case it's fine, but I don't see the point in having an adjustable scale at the top as opposed to three buttons or tabs to choose from for clarity's sake. Minor suggestions aside, the only thing Chappy suffers from currently is a smaller pool of guys to choose from, but that's an issue that I'm sure will be remedied by time and recognition as one would expect. Overall, it's very well done app, with a clear vision, and active developers who impressively manage to look through and respond to most of their users' concerns. In my opinion, Chappy is better than its older and more restrictive competitors in every way. It's a wonderful idea executed surprisingly thoughtfully and I look forward to seeing how it progresses in the future.

Can't upload photos

Whenever I try to upload any sort of photo, even ones sourced from Facebook profile pics, it's rejected (supposedly for breaking guidelines). If I can't upload even a clothed, upper body face photo, what's the point of this app? Great idea, impossible format for some users.

Forget the fact that if you're using one of these apps, you are bound to run into someone that is only using it for sex. So no matter how much an app that's free to use and download says it's only for serious love-finders: it's probably filled with one night stand lookers. I also seemed to only be meeting fake profiles or "spam bots". Just be weary when using this app. It's not all it says it's supposed to be.

Absolutely love this app.. facebook login is awesome. No fake profiles. No headless torsos. Lets you choose between mr right and mr. Right now, so no guessing what the guy on the other end is after. Please don't change a thing . Bravo ! ******Update******* had to delete app .. makes my iPhone hot !!!!

I love that it is a lot like apps like Tinder and Boosk. It gives you more of insight on someone as opposed making it so sex crazed. I also love that it feel more perosnalized.
