Unengaing, no filters, you have to literally swipe every single person and the Mr Now vs Right Now Vs I Don't Know conceit is not effective or relevant. Same guys here as in every other app. Conversations are slow and stilted or highly repetitive. Ultimately using this app feels like a chore.

Unfortunately, you are forced to have a Facebook account to use this app. While I understand this is a measure to avoid fake profiles, there are still some human beings who are not on social media. App developers forget that people are still people even if they aren’t on Facebook. I would gladly upload a photo of my drivers license or take another measure to bypass this. But no such option exists.

I don’t have a facebook due to their terrible data privacy practices. Why on earth are you restricting registration to those that use that garbage service? I don’t care that you’re working on fixing this. As a dating service, for the LGBT community, it’s quite concerning that you’ve chosen to restrict registration to a service that sells personal info and puts it’s users in danger.

Chappy requires you sign in with a facebook account. This requirement is completely unnecessary (in spite of the app’s stated goal), and excludes people without facebook accounts.

Why should I have to sign in with Facebook to use this app? I don’t have Facebook, as I would rather not ever make an account with them just to use this app. I can’t just use my Gmail to make an account on this app? If I could give this zero stars I would.

I was hesitant to use another ‘gay dating app.’ No judgement about grindr and the other apps, most of us have used them and for whatever reason we needed them for. I wanted to find something real. Chappy has given me that chance. Four weeks of using it and I found a guy who compliments my personality. Give it a chance. I make no guarantees it will work for you like it did for me, but at least you can say you tried.

COME ON ALREADY!!! Your reviews have been pointing this out for months and months. I don’t have a FB, and with the recent issues concerning FB and privacy I don’t understand how my “privacy is your main concern.”
