Not intuitive and far from elegant....

Clunky and cumbersome. Not horrible but certainly not intuitive and far from elegant - seems like a circa 2003-type app. There’s an “auto fill” type function that scans a photograph of the receipt. OCR isn’t usually 100% accurate by any means but their auto fill is less than 40% or so and is hardly useful. Finally, the sync functionality eventually fails after so many weeks/months requiring one to delete and reinstall the app. Pain. Occasionally, they send an email survey asking for thoughts/criticisms, etc and this endeavor never seems to result in better performance and features. In fact, on one of these surveys it lets you comment at the end and I asked them to contact me and they never did. I understand my company's accounting department loves it on their end but people in the field have to do so much data entry and corrections it's despised.

Our company went to this platform several years ago and they have listened to their users and made changes to make it more effective. The format is easy to manage and the app support has proven itself as well, overall I’m very satisfied to use this vehicle for all my expenses.

When reviewing receipt submissions with errors, the boxes are so small that it is difficult to pull them up for edit.

Very satisfied with the app, from capturing and storing receipts to creating new and archiving old reports. The auto fill feature needs help but all in all, I am very satisfied.

I’m getting better at managing this process. I find it easier if I stay on top of travel reciepts. The overall effort can be very time consuming tough - not exactly making me feel more efficient personally but my accountant loves it - anything to make her life easier!
Better than doing by hand but...

Very easy to use on a mobile device and easy enough to upload or email receipts but there are a few clunky things the developers need to fix. Adding people to your expense report is surprisingly time consuming as you have to hunt for your participants by scrolling thru names. Expenses also show up in a random order and are not posted by date which would seem to be logical and easier to track. Auto fill does not pick up on simple things like cab v airfare v lyft so you have to go back in and correct. Tips also have to be manually entered which seems clunky as well. On the other hand, very easy to snap a photo and dump into the app on the fly.

Certify makes it simple to keep track of receipts and expenses on regular bases. The expense reports at the end of the month summarizes details and makes it easy to complete.

I was skeptical when we moved to Certify for our travel and expense reimbursements. We were old school, paper submissions before. But I’m a believer now, it’s quick and easy, you never lose a receipt, my people get reimbursed for their expenses more quickly than ever before, and we have had no issues. I highly recommend.
Fix the spinning arrow

We are forced to use this app for business expenses. If I try to add a mileage segment to an existing mileage expense, it never allows me to add it. Instead, the clockwise arrow spins in a circle. Please fix this.
