Once to connect to your car the app is fine, looks and works fine. But the home screen (dashboard) and the ‘features’ page are terrible. Little stupid pictures and icons, which are all redundant buttons that have different descriptions but bring you to the same place. Strange awkward layout. ‘Add car’ feature is just unnecessary, and now I have like 6 cars that can’t seem to be deleted. This app looks like preschoolers video game. It’s so sad and aggravating to look at every time I load it up. Then you have to ‘restore purchase’ for full version every few days from the App Store, which requires you to disconnect from the Carly adapter after waiting minutes for it to connect. It’s just a piss poor design overall. They took and app that was so clean and simple before they managed to turn into this. Find a different brand to support and leave Carly behind.

This app is great and all until it stops working for whatever reason. One day I was trying to code my FTRM module (the one that controls daytime running lights and such) and it just kept telling me that there is an error occurring. I tried contacting them 4 times and it’s been a pain to get a response out of them. When and if they did send a response, all it was, was the typical advice that you could pull from the website nothing more in detail. You would expect a company to do better given that you have to pay almost three times as much as competition brands like Bimmercode. And if anything, I think I might just give Bimmercode a shot because this is not working out for me at all.

this product doesn’t even work . I paid for the obd2 for my bmw that cost $95.00 then paid for the in app of $59.00 and it didn’t do anything what a waste of money

After i paid $82 to buy carly from amazon I found out i have to pay another $60 every year to use the app that controls the hardware i got from amazon Other wise the hardware is useless Why they don’t mention that before u get the hardware?????? At least one week or one day coding free with the device Something worse the $82 I paid for If i like the service then i will renew the subscription But buying it and won’t be able to use it That is not acceptable Please help

Not bad coding adapter.... Wish it was more clear as to what the specific coding or codes do. At times the information is to basic or general But at this point what I’ve understood and wanted to do is happened. Trying to understand the light features or codes so have not tried that yet. Also it would nice to access the coding information or explanations while away from the adapter.
