Quality keeps declining

Melody7654

Caring Bridge used to be a great tool for sharing updates about my husband's health with family and friends. It was so convenient to use this app to post from the hospital. Unfortunately, when they decided to upgrade to a "flashy" user experience, they didn't ensure that the functionality still worked. Each update since then has broken even more of the app. I can't edit the site I manage and I can't even view other people's sites at all. This is such a shame because it used to be a good app, but isn't anymore. If you are in the unfortunate situation of needing a Caring Bridge site, then you really don't need the added frustration of this broken app.

Do not like new update!!!

Fun games 1928

Did not like the "new look" update because it has so many issues. They fixed some of the issues but now they just has another update and the app doesn't work at all! It always says "failed" when I try to use it. Also wish there was a "back"button so you don't have to go to the menu and scroll down every time you want to go back to the site list. Please fix it!!!! Cannot recommend as it doesn't even work right now.

New messages

I can no longer read the entire journal entries because it cuts the text off and you can tell there is more text to read!! When you try to scroll down further, it just shows a blank screen. This new app has been nothing but trouble!

Not a fan of latest update

Too many Sweets

Not user friendly. Does not show updates in mobile version without email or checking each site. Too much back and forth. Links in sites not accessible from journal.

No thanks

It's still messing up. I can't read the whole journal entry. Please fix it!

Unfortunate

graycensmom

I loved this website to keep people in the loop when my daughter was ill and in the hospital. I was thrilled to have an app to make updating and following others updates even easier. Except it doesn't work. Period. Every time I've logged in it says "failed" and the customer service people are apathetic at best. Now not only can I not use the app I am no longer interested in using the website. Speaking of "failed"

Website and App in Decline

Shagz

The new format of the CaringBridge website is more of a headache than anything. It was helpful and easy to update family and friends during my illness. Now they are striving for more form rather than function. It used to be much better. The app was never great, but is now getting worse with each update. Now it sees that I am logged in, but "fails" trying to anything else. CaringBridge needs to spend its time fixing bugs, not making them.

"Failed" message

Jennanesth

With the latest update, I am having the same issues as everyone else. The main page says "Failed" and when I try to visit a site, it says "Password required" and "login required," even though I am fully logged in - I can view my profile and I am getting notifications of new entries for journals I follow. Unfortunate, because when following the email link I also get when there is an update to the journal, the text is wrapped oddly on my iPhone and can't be read in Safari without moving the page manually from side to side. So, now there is no easy way to read the journal updates from my phone. Please fix the app, Caringbridge!!

Works fine...

...now that I logged out and logged back in as advised by customer care.

Please go back to the old app!

Each time you update the Caring Bridge app, it gets harder and harder to use. It crashes, it loses the sites I visit, it logs me out unexpectedly. I love the CB site, and loved this app until you started updating it. Please, please fix it so that it works as well as it originally did.
