I cannot sign in

Marcagor

Sometimes when I sign in it doesn’t go anywhere ... and sometimes it goes through . Very frustrating

CaringBridge is an important service with crappy UX

Content Strategist

Does CaringBridge ever do UX testing? They should. And also modernize by adopting conventions from other very commonly used apps: tap a photo to enlarge, add a comment in the app, add a tip with donation rather than such overwhelming CB donation pleas. And the color palette... oy vey. Symbols such as apostrophes degrade in the app and appear as dingbats. Using the signature function messes with the ability to view the associated comment.

DITTO on “Where is donated money going to...”

I have all the very same concerns and frustrations and would so appreciate some of these issues being worked on. Thank you.

Great app… When it works.

Thank you for the CaringBridge site. It has been such a help as I navigate cancer. However I would say it only works about half of the time on the app on my iPhone. A little frustrating.

Barely functional

Gonecrunchy303

This app is so clunky and awkward and buggy. Whether you're a page's author or visitor, it's hard to navigate. You can't see comments or photo descriptions (beyond a certain number of characters). It's clear that the site's owners have no reason to update this because it's free and they know if you're downloading the app you already need it. I would understand that, except I just wish perhaps they hadn't written an app at all, instead of this awfully-designed headache.

Apps is buggy

CaringBridge is amazing! The app is a buggy nuisance!

Needs to link more accurately with website

Lmh1206

There is not a place on the app like when you log in on your computer in the Ways to Help part! I'd like to be able to add & see links also on my mobile app!! Also the link to donate to caring bridge is way too big & misleading. I think most people believe this is how you can donate directly to the person in which the site is set up for...

Not user friendly

Whenever I get a notification that there is an update for me, I ALWAYS get an error message and when I type the name in it says that there is no such site. This is constant so I have stopped using it. It's. dry disappointing.

Declining site

Moxformom

I started Journaling on Caringbridge 8 years ago when my son was diagnosed with leukemia. I had been following a friends cancer journey four years prior to that. When I first started journaling the site was awesome. You could control the size of your letters-which was great as I had some older People with vision problems following the site. Then, after about 4 years, the site updated and lost those features and became harder to navigate. It did add a feature where you could see the last 9 people who logged in to the site. Then they "updated" again to what we have now. My son passed away last year and my husband and I were going to make a sizable donation, esp since my son's site became my niece's site- she had emergency open heart surgery the day after my son died. But we are reluctant to as the site keeps becoming worse, not better. If they would improve the site back to what it used to be and fix the glitches and crashes everyone is talking about, this could be a 5 star site again!

Disappointing app

penandra

This app is disappointing and frustrating. It does not allow me to sign into all of the sites that I can access through the webpage. I'm removing the app from my phone, and will just access everything through the webpage. It's not worth it to have to remember which site I can access where. Very frustrating. Needs lots of help.
