Limited information

Damonmom

For an app that’s all about cars it’s very limited in what information it provides. I couldn’t even get a review for a used car model year newer than 2005.

Limited functionality and detail

Frogstachio

Other than viewing by either vehicle class OR make, the app lacks any ability to filter or support results. Also, ZERO color on reliability rating scores. Much room for improvement. Maybe CR could cut back the time spent on their mostly misguided political activism and spend maybe a few days fixing this app

Detailed, real life, useful info

mos2050

The CR auto review app gives one the most important and useful information based on real life experiences of both owners and professionals. And it’s easy to use.

Unusable

scenographer

Attempts to build a vehicle failed. It kept reverting to base model. Previously I tried researching information about a particular model but was unable to select one. Only one build was available and it was not the one I wanted.

Safety Equipment Update

dtoyd

is great information BUT would you please list ALL major safety features including NOT available features? Obviously keep the "standard as of 20xx" and "optional as of" info.

Super app

Arrow car

Great app. Got the dealer to lower price several $100 more after reviewing the CR recommended cost

Great app. I relied on it to purchase my last car & found the videos to be particularly helpful. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new car. I also used it to sell my trade in. Easy & intuitive.

Fails to provide detailed data

kena_f

Unlike the desktop version, this app provides very little in depth data. For example, I can't see specific reliability metrics for each year of a specific car. Waste of money, buy desktop version...

No reliability ratings on any used vehicles

ATC1980

The only reason I payed this was to research used cars. For every car, truck, SUV, everything listed and all years including the most popular vehicles in the country there are no reliability ratings. It simply says "not enough data". Way to drop the ball consumer reports. I'd like my money back.

Another subscription?

Already have a CR subscription - need a MONTHLY subscription for this?? Business practice not so consumer friendly.
