About Useless

Is_this_seat_taken

Idk what this app is supposed to do. The only settings under the settings menu is to reset all the default settings for the app. There are only 3 built in ambience settings - club , movie, and voice. The EQ does not work . Whether you adjust it manually or you try to select between 2 custom EQ Spectrums to fine tune the sound, there is no difference detectable in whatever change you make. It's a free app so you get what you pay for.

Lack of features

I love my 4.50BTNC, but I wish the app would give me some of the same customizability options as the 550.

Love this app!

Learn the features of this app and you'll love it. The EQ feature is very handy. You can use presets or create your own EQ settings. The ability to create profiles based on different listening activities is awesome too. The interface is sleek and a bit more intuitive than most. What I enjoy the most is the bass and treble boost. CapTune makes up for the lack of bass on my AirPods. If you appreciate music and sound like I do, you'll love this app!

Can't connect to Tidal

mr.kn33

It keeps telling to enable cellular data use in the tidal settings. Tidal is already set up for cellphone data use.... I'd rather go with spotify if this won't work with Tidal

Great potential but buggy

college professor

A music player app that can access all the music in my iPhone’s on-device library plus TIDAL. Excellent EQ controls plus optional spatial effect. Can save multiple EQ and device profiles. However, it takes a while to figure out the app. Plus, an annoying bug: once you’re listening to a track or album, there is no way to go back to your library to select a different album or artist. This bug makes the app almost nonfunctional. Some screens have a question mark help icon in the upper right corner, but the main screen does not.

Great app but misses an important feature

timeflux

I recently purchased a PXC 550 and I’m loving it with this app. EQ, effects, TIDAL HiFi stream, all are great but it doesn’t provide access to downloaded TIDAL content. It would be great to listen offline TIDAL tracks on Captune but it’s not a deal breaker. TIDAL app comes to rescue in such situations. It’s just mildly annoying. I hope future versions support this.

Still can’t play iTunes music

Fritzvpnshitz

Love the headphones. Still can’t play music downloaded through my monthly iTunes subscription. So disappointed. Please fix

Disappointed

Will not play my iTunes music.

Good if it’s on your device.

I recently purchased the HD one wireless headphones and connected them to this app. If you don’t have the music download to your phone, this app won’t work. So anyone with Spotify, just know that you won’t be able to use this app with your music. Otherwise it works as advertised. Hoping that in the future the app won’t need music to change the audio preferences.

Great app but closes

App closes when switching tracks, version 1.8.0
