Good but Improvement needed

Canvas is now very good but the video upload and the crashing is what loses my one star but other than that educators will be happy to use this as this is so easy. Recommend highly I think highly of this app and with a little bit of improvement then it will get 5 stars

It sends me an email everyday on the things people said in discussion and assignments in a recap. It’s so annoying.
Won’t let me adjust videos (fast forward, etc)

FIX THIS!!!!!! Can’t adjust recorded class lecture videos from zoom, it forces me to watch the whole thing and can’t skip ahead / go back. It worked previously, stop updating if only going to make worse!
iPad app is useless, add full-size calendar

I love Canvas in the desktop browser and on the iPhone, but I hate the Canvas iPad app. It is incredibly weak compared to the browser app. The app is really just the iPhone app stretched up to iPad size. Tell me why I can access the full Canvas website in Safari, where I can do things like look at the full-size calendar, have the full menu on the side of the screen as opposed to the narrowed one at the bottom of the iPad app, the icons in the course thumbnails, and many other things; but when I am on my iPad app, I’m basically using a stretched out iPhone app. Now that the iPad can run full size desktop websites in safari, it brings to the surface the ability of the iPad and how much space developers are wasting with their iPad apps. I want to use the app, but I want it to do more. I will change my review when at least the calendar is added. Wishes for iPad app: Full-size calendar, or even just to port the desktop app over to iPad.
