Disappointment

webbgamers

When I heard there was an app for Busch Gardens I did not hesitate to download it expecting something like the Disney app, I was mistaken. The app is clunky and inconvenient. I could not find their most popular rides in the rides list, the park map did not show half the rides, and it took forever to load. Busch Gardens should remake this app with Disney’s in mind. This app doesn’t even deserve one star.

Terrible

trend2017

App is terrible but I guess they realize it. Starting jan 1 the app will not link account and pass info either. So while other venues push forward and add functionality to their app, Busch Gardens scales back. Makes you wonder what direction the entire operation is moving in.

Useless

windracer_jr

This is a terrible app and was pretty much useless during NYE last night. None of the wait times for the major rides were listed nor any of the constant closures (Cheetah Hunt, Cobra’s Curse, etc.). The “menus” for the restaurants just listed sodas and popcorn and nothing else. Busch Gardens/Sea World needs to take a good look at Disney’s mobile app and rewrite this one from scratch.

Garbage

Couldn’t ad passes to my wallet and now just can’t log in at all.

Horrible

Neenee1971

I can log in just fine online, but the app always says my email or password is incorrect, so I cannot add my pass to the app and must always take it with. I guess I could take a pic of it, but it’s so old, I’m afraid it won’t scan at the Park. Busch Gardens really needs to get their act together. Their website is equally horrid. You cannot update information (despite what the website’s passholder link says you can) unless you are actually purchasing something or using one of the benefits (i.e. $10 BG bucks). This doesn’t make any sense. I’m so frustrated. Been trying to update info and renew a pass for over an hour!

Awful design, no features

achupacabra

This is probably the worst designed theme park app ever. It's just a port over of their website, and doesn't really contain any useful information, it just tries to sell you stuff. With the latest update, they removed the only 2 useful features of the old app: digital passes/fun cards and wait times. Whoever came up with this should be fired.

No longer an App

Crewjg

The Busch Gardens and Sea World mobile app is not an app, but the park websites. Gone are the fun activities such as the Passport To Fun, which was a scavenger hunt throughout the park. Mobile pay rarely works, and the park employees do not know how to ring up purchases using quick pay. Also, quick pay and annual pass discount can not be used during the same transaction as only one barcode can be scanned. This seems rather antiquated for 2018. Unrelated, but the wireless throughout Busch Gardens is terrible anyway, so the app is rather useless.

Park information

Love that we can see the estimated wait times for the rides while in park. Wish I could see them from the hotels around the park so we can judge a better time to go

Waste of time

App is just the website. If you want to save time just pin the website to your home screen instead. The old version of the app was more user friendly and had more features about the park. Wait times, in park maps we’re available even if you weren’t in the parks. Not happy with the app and have deleted it

Why bother?

This app used to be helpful. It had useful features like ride wait times, but now this "app" is just the BG website. A HUGE step backwards. Bring back the original app!
