App worked perfectly for several years. Stopped working Oct 18 after most recent update. Says “Printer not found”? You need to Fix this error.
Last update rendered printer useless

After the last update my printer is no longer recognized by the app (HL-2280DW) so it won’t print. Worked fine for 5-6 years until this update happened. Keeps asking for me to disable “Privacy Separator” on my router (there is no such setting on my router and it’s never asked for this before). I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but now can’t even get it to add my printer as it appears it’s no longer supported. Bring back the old app and stop making things obsolete/fixing things that aren’t broken!! Previously I would have given this a 4-5 star rating but now I’d rate it at 0.
Worked great until 6.2.5

I always had an easy time with this app until the 6.2.5 update, now my printer will not connect. Hold off on the update.
Basic, but no features.

The most basic app there is. You can only scan black and white, no greyscale or photo quality. No ability to resize a document using percentages. Doesn’t save in jpg. If you want something that would be state of the art in 2000 this is for you.

Used the Brother App for years but with the latest IOS update, Brother has decided not to support the Brother HL-2270DW laserjet printer. This is an old story with the tek companies. Just cease driver support and force the customer to buy a new such and such.
There’s a problem with auto find for printers

I have a brother MFC-7860DW and the auto find will not display the printer according to the model it doesn’t exist. You have to set it up manually not everyone will know how to do so. System support is a joke she kept saying she doesn’t understand and when I said that I got it to work without her help. She said is there anything else she can do. I said fix the auto find feature. I don’t have high hopes that she will do that.

Folks be careful with the iOS 14.1 update. It no longer recognizes my brother printer. Granted it’s older but it worked fine. Now is no longer compatible. Luckily I can still print front my iPad and I won’t be updating until I find a resolution. 1⭐️cause it wouldn’t allow me to send otherwise.
Can’t scan or print after latest update

Connectivity between the app and my printer is now broken after the recent update. Prior to the update it worked perfectly. I hope this is not intentional and will soon be fixed.
