Great Game, Simple Puzzles

This is a great game with a good storyline. I was able to play through and complete the main story and bonus chapter without the glitches or bugs mentioned in previous reviews from 1-2 years ago. The HOPs were intriguing; instead of simply finding a list of objects, you interact with certain objects to find specific ones. Some of the other types of puzzles were less interesting, e.g. mazes and jigsaw puzzles. I usually don’t skip puzzles and work to solve every single one of them. However, I found myself skipping a few that were a chore to get through despite how easy they were to “solve,” e.g. finding the correct missing pieces out of a group to complete the scene. I prefer more challenging puzzles — hence, 4/5 stars.

Purchased this game, money deducted from my card, NOW game is not loadable!!!! Please refund my money ASAP! Very disappointed. Did not want to give a star at all but I am forced to. Also hopefully other people will read this review before purchasing,

Another great game by Big Fish. I have noticed the last few games I have bought from them just get better and better. This was is really good. I like the story line and such great scenes. The puzzles are great also.

Bridge to Another World: The Others seems to be a lot of fun. There are Hidden Ravens to find in each scene. Silhouette Hidden Object scenes and fairly easy puzzles add to the fun. Just as in Harry Potter, you are slowly given new spells by finding feathers. You write the spell on your hand, and it enters your inventory. Then you may use it! You begin the game with your adopted brother, Jace, who is then kidnapped by a witch (one of The Others.) You must use your magical compass, which uses magic purple dust, to illuminate the paths Jace has taken. Fun! You are given bits of the history of the characters as you go along. Just spooky enough to be good entertainment for Halloween, such as making a scarecrow from three pumpkins and a cloak!

This is the first low score given to a Big Fish game that I have given. The game itself started out great. However, there was a glitch were a hop did not appear and a critical item could not be obtained. The necessary steps required for this hop were followed without success. Thus, the game could not be advanced. Waste of a good buck!
