Useless app

The station finder feature lets you search for a location where you can use the app to pay for fuel. I was attempting to use an American Express offer to use that credit card for my BP purchase. When I arrived at the station and tapped “pay for fuel”, I got the message “Hmmm,you don’t seem to be near a station.,,” This happened repeatedly so I bought my fuel at a non-BP station. I will dump the app.
So Frustrating!!!
Frequent traveler too
Background: I have a iPhone 13 running iOS 15. I work for a software company. This app has given me a “I’m sorry we are having technical problems” half the time. According to your help line, it takes deleting the app, cycling my phone and reinstalling the app and credit card for it to work again. The app takes like 4 minutes to download and I have 5G with 3 bars. I know you can do better. Great when it works.

App will never works during credit card promo. Calling customer care is a waste of time. Kept being transferred to different departments or to call back during business hours. App will miraculously work again after credit card promo expires. Only works when paying full price? Bait and switch?

I go out of town every month and I always stop at a BP, paying at the pump is so much easier and convenient! I’ve never had an issue and it also takes my debit card.

The app does not work with multiple stations. I cannot get my rewards and it doesn’t allow me to pay with in the app. Call for support and they can’t get it working. Just horrible. I’m done with BP and they’ll never get another penny from me. I’ll run out of gas before I ever use them again.
