I really like the idea of these habit apps that give you a REASON to play. This app acts more like a to-do list tracker than a habit tracker. I think adding a bad-habit tracker would be great! Trying to quit smoking or quit drinking Starbucks for example. As you smoke a cigarette, you mark it in the app and it does some damage to your character. I understand that there’s some issues with people lying, but I feel as though they’re really only harming themselves. Also character creation would be great! Different skin tones and hair color would be really effective in making me feel like my character is actually a representation of me. It would also give me a subconscious reason to do better for myself. Guessing that with the armor and the moving sprites it would be hard, but maybe 5 skin tones and 6 hair colors or something? Something basic like that. Regardless, I think this app is on the right track and I’m willing to give it a month long try.

Was looking forward to it, but...

I am all about life gamification. I’ve utilized that hack for quite some time on my own. So I was excited to see this app, but it needs some updating...the equipment tabs don’t work for me (leads to blank pages) and the app is just a little basic, overall. There is no music and very little customization. More than anything, I did not find the rewards motivating. The app could be helpful, but needs adjustment. Three points for effort.

Awesome app idea

This app is awesome, but you should continue improving this app, I feel like this app could get really good and help tons of people.

Pretty and Subpar

Lord Madar

Some of the best graphics in the productivity RPG subgenre. Inefficient UI; e.g., creating new tasks from within “daily” view, user is still prompted to select from daily, weekly, or monthly task. Glitchy. Dragging items to reorder outside the immediate display area causes items to spastically flicker in and out of position. Character currently shows 19/16 XP with progress bar overflowing out of frame. Uncertain whether leveling up will be possible after this. Rebooting app does not help. Functions that should be considered basic for a productivity app (e.g., reminders) are kept behind a relatively expensive “Elite” paywall.

looks promising

Nice concept

A great way for gamers to organize their tasks.

Levels drop for no reason

done with the crao

So as a list app it works fine but my level drops every so often. I got myself up to level 50; and then the next day it dumped me back to level 25, and now I get to 25 and it just dumps me back to 2. I don’t know why it does this especially since I’m doing my tasks so be warned: if that’s your primary motivator it will be frustrating

It’s cute, the graphics are better than Habitica, but that’s the only plus it has over it. Bounty Tasker isn’t available for Android and I use multiple platforms so that’s a deal breaker. Big community and more options available on Habitica. Sorry. Wish the developers the best, but this app doesn’t work for me.

Elite Error

hate the user interface

I have used the free version of the app for about 3 months and decided to purchase the full version. They took $49.99 INSTANTLY out of my account but continues to ask me to go elite. Either refund my money or the bank will. -edit- They emailed me quickly which is important to me. They tried to walk me through troubleshooting steps which are the general common sense steps. Sadly the TS Steps did not work - and they walked me through how to refund. The app is good, it's sad the PIF version did not work but the free version does a lot already. Maybe later down the line I will try to repurchase and now is not the time. So I updated my review because I feel the customer service was very personal interaction and not an AI response.

This is a wonderful idea for task management. It engages you to complete your tasks. It has daily, weekly, and monthly sections as well as a section for items that don’t repeat. For me the only downfall for this app is that the elite function is through a monthly or yearly subscription. If the elite function were a one time purchase then I would have given the app a 5 star rating.
