Repeating tasks?

mcbranagan

I can't seem to figure out if you can assign a specific day to your repeating tasks or if you can only have things repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. Someone please tell me how the reminders function and I may decide to go premium. Thank you.

Better adulting starts here

Barefoot_indie

I’ve tried dozens of productivity apps, but this one works the best. The way this app organizes tasks (vague repeating due dates) makes more sense then the overly complex system other apps use. The gamification reinforces your good behavior helping you create positive habits. (I do the dishes every day now, instead of waiting until I run out of dishes) I’m much better at adulting since I starting using this app. Unfortunately there has been some bugs. And the RPG side needs more depth. Hoping for a update soon. Dear Dev. Please list your contact email in the app or on your website.

Basic things for pay

Eepe

So far there are several basic things in other apps that i’d have to pay for in this one. Changed from 2 stars to 3 because of the gamification. However reminders would be more helpful than clicking through game notifications. Update: Cute idea, but $50+/year isn’t quite worth a “game mode” for my to do list ?‍♀️

An excellent, simple—if basic—productivity booster!

There are quite a few gamified to-do lists on the App Store, and I’ve tried many of them—so far, Bounty Tasker is my favorite. Pros: —straightforward without sacrificing both critical to-do list features (repeating task schedules, reminder notifications, etc.) —Fun game elements (equipment, monsters, exp., etc.) —Monsters in particular are integrated in a really cool way and encourage “bursts” of activity to clear out old tasks—very clever! Cons: —Keep in mind this app is still in development, so there are a few notable but manageable bugs (in particular, the game seems to seems to forget whether or not you have an Elite account, but it’s quickly fixed by restoring purchase.) —Long-term, there are some gameplay elements I’d really like to see (no character classes at the moment, gear doesn’t change your character’s appearance) but they don’t impact the core functionality at all. —Additionally, bear in mind there’s no community functionality at the moment, so you can’t work with friends on growth. Personally, I actually like this, but YMMV. All told, this is now my primary to-do list app! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, incentivized version of a task program. :)

Can ignore to-do list

MaeFl0wer

I like the basic idea and layout of the app, it’s simple and easy to use. But it seems like I can ignore the to-do list with no damage to my character. This is a good app if you have mostly recurring items you need to do. But if you’re like me and have mostly a collection of one time things that need to be done, this app doesn’t add much incentive. Also, if items appeared on your character when equipped it would give a better sense of progress.

A fun way to keep track

To do list rpg ftw

It’s a Subway

Subway or nah

Good app; better pizza. Papa John’s.

Good app, can’t afford the elite model but want to use it.

MaxiMech

Love the idea, easy to use, fun design and pixel art, and I want to use the paid stuff but 5 dollars a month is a little too steep for a todo list app, even if it is Gameified. Would def grab the upgrade if it was 2 or 3 bucks a month.

Very useful!

Engaging and well-designed. I'm starting to feel more productive already!
