FIXED: Won’t load on iPad

Update Sept 23 2020 Whatever Bose/Apple did fixed the problem without my having to delete & redownload. On the whole, the app is pretty good. Unfortunately it doesn’t allow the user to set up permanent speaker groups. And with six speakers in my house, scrolling across speaker pages to select master speaker for a group is annoying - why aren’t they all on one page? Interfaces with music services are not complete so you have to go to other source’s app for some options. Previous issue Sept 16 2020: I updated to iPad OS 14. Now the ST app won’t load. Deleted & redownloaded. Still not loading. Option to allow local network access missing in Bose Music Settings.

I have a few of these sound speakers all over my house and they work great but I recommend you have a good wifi signal so u don’t get drop outs .. at first my wifi signal wasn’t that strong and the speakers would lose the signal... I do admit it drove me crazy thinking it was the Bose speakers but I have a different wifi now with a better signal and haven’t had any of the speakers lose there signal at all. Now as far as the sound of the speakers? I have the whole set of soundtouch speakers and there all great sounding speakers. They aren’t cheap but if you want a quality sounding speaker , it’s Bose.

We went from a bluetooth link from a dedicated laptop in our kitchen to this, the sound is superb. The fidelity is far superior to our bluetooth set up Setup was easy and smooth with no issues We control it from 2 different iphones and from our individual laptop with no issues Last no more jumping up to see who the artist is, we just reach for our phone or look at our laptops The only downside is that we now have a new empty spot to collect clutter
Good system, but updates aren’t easy.

It’s such a production to do updates from our Mac. It requires connecting the computer to a speaker. Sometimes I have to uninstall then reinstall the program.

Loses connection

App loses connection to speakers, sometimes even while music is streaming (Wave and Bose Link). Reconnect and connection is lost again days or hours later. And could it even be possible to make connecting more convoluted. I say app loses connection because the remote continues to work with Wave and Alexa continues to work with both. But the app can’t find any speakers.

I see all the Great reviews and I see all the BAD one’s Who’s telling the Truth ? The Consumer who has bought the Bose Product Line or Bose the company trying to sell their products ? I can’t decide.... Sorry the Consumer WINS, BOSE is hiding behind smoke and mirrors. Fake reviews professing it’s Great, While anyone who really wants TO SIMPLE Listen to Music SIMPLE CANNOT due to this APP. BOSE there are a lot of people looking for jobs have you seen the news ?Start again get Rid of Dead weight and produce a Quality app. Because I Love music that much I’ve picked up App design where can I send a CV I’ve got to be better than what you have now and I’m only 8 years old!!! UPDATE 10-01-20 LOOK AT MOST RECENT REVIEWS STILL glitching STILL seeing Glowing reviews BUT LOOK close THEIR 2 or 3 YEARS OLD SOOOO SAD??
