If it’s not required for the test, I wouldn’t even touch it. Tons of problems. I ended up spending hours talking to the help desk and the data still couldn’t sync. All they tell you is to wait another 20min.

It annoys me that I see blue, orange, and pink highlighters but can only use green and yellow??? I also hate the page turning and how glitchy it looks.

This app works exactly as advertised. It even reads your purchased, downloaded book to you. LOVE IT!

The pages are hard to turn, it takes me a few tries each time to turn the page. When you turn the page it takes a couple seconds to load the next one making it hard to quickly find things you are looking for. If i didn't NEED to use this app because of one of my college textbooks, i wouldn't. I suggest that if you are looking for a reading app, don't make it this one.

This service is a waste of your money. Just use Kindle versions since they are 1) generally less expensive and 2) the content is more readable. My key issues with Vital Source: In some books, there is only a continuous flow reading pane (instead of traditional “pages”). This makes it extremely difficult to cite sources accurately in academic work. I “bought” a book last year (it was sold to me as the purchase option) but apparently (it was never disclosed) I was only renting it for a few months. So I went back to use the book for another class, and Vital Source told me I would have to “purchase” it again. I implore all of you just to purchase books on Kindle. Even if your University bookstore links to this App (that’s the only reason I used it to begin with). If you search Amazon with the ISBN, you will get the exact same book (ISBN is independent of seller).
I pay hundreds for books and this app ain't worth a plugged nickel

This app is trash. Crashes every time I try to open my book. I tried downloading on my phone and my iPad but it’s not working. I need this book for a class and I’m stuck reading on my laptop. It’s a huge pain in the butt. AVOID THIS APP

I follow the directions to change the reading voice and it doesn’t accept it. It’s sticks with the original voice that’s hard to understand at times.
