I don’t usually review apps but this one is so bad it warrants being one starred. The layout is awful. I can’t seem to be able to search for certain specialties on the app when they’re available online. The purpose of an app, in case they are unaware at Blue Shield, is so your customers can do things on the go without having to use the full website.

I love the app because I’m able to view my claims and have my ID cards available at all times. The customer service every time I call thru the app is always amazing
Can’t find doctors

Even when searching for all available andno filters, it can’t find doctors, and I’m in the Illinois Medical District right now
Can't make payment through the app

Impossible to pay premium through the app and website down all weekend. Looks like a way to shed customers and get them cancelled for non payment.
Way easier than the desktop website

Use this to get everything done instead. Fantastic job UI/UX Team. I found all the immediate help I needed easily and change from one shoddy doc to a better one
Can’t search mental health providers in the app

Can’t search mental health providers in the app WTH? I AM covered and can search psychiatrists on the website.

None of the information in this app is up to date. I had to switch my primary care physician 3 times because the information on the app was incorrect. I also used the app to find the closest urgent care facility when my wife was feeling ill. Only to get there and be told they only deal with workers comp claims. This app is completely useless. Don’t trust any of the information and call to verify before making any changes or driving to a location that is supposed to accept you as a patient.
