When are you going to implement Segwit wallets ??? This app could be good but they charge way too much in fees for no reason. And they do not respond in time to support tickets.

Swift card with Coinbase is way better! They do everything fee free! Hey BitPay! Just roll out Bitcoin Cash linking already!!! No one wants to use Bitcoin with crazy fees. Then you put your own fees on top of that?!!?!??! Ripoff!!!

This wallet used to be the best out there, alongside its sister app CoPay. Now, however, it’s behind the times. No SegWit support, even 6 months after activation, and wildly overestimated fees. Come on.

Stay away from this wallet. You’ll lose your coin and there’s literally no support. I sent my bitcoins to another address, now my bitpay’s wallet shows zero amount, but after 16 days the transaction is not showing in insight. And my bitcoins has not returned to my wallet. Emailed the support several time and got no answer but automated replies. (Yes the transaction fee was enough)! Every time I open this wallet my transaction shows up as it is sending right now (though it was done 16 days ago). I have had some similar problems with this wallet before, so i decided to move all my coins and never use it again and it seems like it’s just revealed the final scene.

I have been in the crypto space for 2 years now. I have a ledger blue to store my coins in a “savings account”. The bitpay app is really nice and designed to make BTC transactions easier between the user and businesses. Because of high transaction fees it would not be worth your money to buy a pack of gum and pay a $10 fee. But bigger purchases > $300 is what the debit card/bitpay wallet is most useful for.
