Took 900$ worth of bitcoin from me and never sent me amazon gift card

Danotiloka

Took 900$ worth of Bitcoin from me and never sent me a gift card , it’s been 4 days

Frustrating

Julielovesmud

I am not able to transfer funds to my card unless I lose half of what I send. Not everyone is a high roller. I have let’s say $350. US if I try to put $200 on my bitpay card it says I have insufficient funds, that means the fees and charges are more the $150 this is ridiculous...I’ll be looking for another platform to handle my funds.

Bad crypto app

Micah Sparks

Bad experience with bitpay. $200 is stuck in bitpay and I cannot get it out due to insufficient funds they say. I would not recommend using bitpay.

Super High Fees

hectorlezama

I know Bitcoin fees are increased but these Bitpay app fees are insane? for example. I bought their debit card $9.95 and I got charged $50 including all fees.. recommendation for bitpay people.. move to litecoin. Ltc fees are super slow and transactions are faster

Needs improvement

Keep up with the times. Bitcoin is not the only crytpo currency. And as fees deter people from using bitcoin, they’ll deter from using bitpay. It’s about time to add Bitcoin Cash to the bitpay card, maybe even one for Ethereum, and Litecoin. The way you add funds to the card via the app from the wallet to the card could be a little smoother.

They won’t provide any customer service period

However, they will constantly spam you with emails reminding you to finish ordering your cand. Where do I even begin with this? I linked the app to my coinbase to send btc to the app to order the debit cadd (which costs $9.95+ tax and change) I sent $20 to be safe. When the transaction cleared I literally had $2.80 in my wallet. Tried again thinking it was a glitch, same thing. Finally was able to get $27.27 in my wallet on the app, but when I try to order the card it says I have insufficient funds. These guys are nothing but thieves. They haven’t replied about refunding my money on the first 2 ridiculous transactions, nor have they even attempted to help get me my debit card. I wouldn’t even recommend this to my worst enemy.

Major Problem

JON13637

I know the team at BitPay will fix this with an update but right as of now I have been ??unable to open up the app?? to get MY $$$$. Great service but I just wanted you to know about this issue. I trust you guys enough to know that this will be fixed soon...

Rip off

anjao

Stay away and Apple should remove this app. They are ripping people off and charging huge fees, making it impossible to get your money back As well.

Not even risking it

All these bad reviews, there's no way I'm trying this. There's gotta be better options. Crypto is the Wild West of currency. Make sure whoever you're dealing with has a live customer service dept and an established corporate address and identity as a corporation. Plus he fees are way too high. If it's easy to lose your money, don't do it!

Honest review.

TechinItEasy

Extremely high fees, no hope for them adjusting it. App is extremely slow and buggy both on the computer and the phone. At first I thought getting a Wallet with them would be amazing And so convenient considering Newegg takes BitPay directly. Boy was I wrong. Their transfer network fee Doesn’t change with the block chain network. Even when the fees drop down to below three dollars on bitcoin network I still have to pay up to .0006 bitcoin To transfer a dollar. Absolutely ridiculous.
