Bindo is flat out awful. They will go offline abuse Friday afternoon, force updates that crash the system, won’t answer when we are having issue. When I once brought up that their average rating being 1.8 stars and they responded “haters gonna hate”. I wish we weren’t punished with a contract with this terrible company.

I’ve been using this system for 2 years now, and I’m always surprised by its capabilities. When I was finally ready to launch my website I thought I’d have to look for another system, but I was relieved to find out that I didn’t. My biggest concern was wanting to manage my inventory from 1 platform without having a cookie-cutter website with limited functionality. I’m definitely able to get that done with this system. Now I have my system hooked up to my accounting software, marketing, software and website, without any off the services lacking any capabilities that are important.

Almost 2 years of torture done!

We started with this POS app in Jan 2015 hoping that they would be all that they claimed to be. At first they were not bad and things we going ok with some crashes and bug issues then they added a restaurant option to the app and all hell broke loose or should I say just broke. They cannot seem to fix the issues they have but keep adding options to the app which cause other MAJOR ISSUES and constant crashes. Reports are beyond awful and useless, something as simple as what you have on hand and the total products value wholesale and retail should not be difficult. I do not know who designed their reports but definitely not anyone with real life retail or business knowledge. Printing to the label printer is a joke, yes we can print by item with the 62mm label but we cannot print labels from a received purchase order, they offer an option but the app just crashes, when you are receiving over 500 items that would be the logical way to print labels in any POS system. Also printing smaller labels is now a pain since it crashes after each item and we have to close out the app to do the next label. Our products set up as ounces or lb in the POS do not work after we print labels, so every time we are working on inventory and a customer comes up with a weighted item we have to close out the app and log back in for it to work-we asked them to fix that over a year ago! The new way to receive or to fulfill an order is time consuming and redundant. We counted 5-7 steps just to mark an order received in Bindo. The receipt printer (that they told us to buy) since the last update only works one 1-iPad the other will say "it cannot connect since there is already an iPad logged on". There solution was for me to buy a new printer...WHAT? I bought the hardware you told me to buy and it worked UNTIL you screwed it up with an update! They promised e-commerce 2 years ago, but still nothing or nothing worth paying for! The phone app is useless and just freezes-up, maybe you can get your daily sales...that's a maybe! Discounts...let's just forget that one for now, the holidays are coming and I may just throw-up, the last update caused major issues which are not fixed. My daily deposits-I use a third party and are suppose to go in next day...I pay extra for it through my 3rd party. That stopped happening and it is on Bindo's end, they tried to fix a few months ago, well of course it didn't work-would I expect it to. Customer emails...HAHA! That use to work to, it does work if they have it connected to their credit card (only some), but other than that we have 1000's in our system and log sales under their name, the emails stopped showing up for receipts when they added the restaurant options a while ago. We are done with this joke of an app as of January, and are just going to pray to the BINDO gods that we make it through the holidays. Just to let you know we are a 5 year old award winning pet boutique with employees, almost 6,000 items in stock and over $300,000 in sales! We need a SERIOUS POS, do yourself a favor and look to Lightspeed or Shopify. We also have our own network geek a certified amazing Apple guy who works for our networking company, we are running on an airport and our system is solid & fast. We are very competent and tech savvy! Every piece of equipment we have is what Bindo recommend and high quality! Final words let the countdown begin to Jan 1st and kiss this POS goodbye!

We chose Bindo because it offered purchase orders for our retail business, and Shopkeep did not offer that. Ever since we signed up, we seem to deal with a couple of guys who work in a garage and promise to do things that either happen right away because they stay up all night working on it, or they say they don't have that technology. The app is a joke. It is literally blank. The desktop dashboard for quick access from a desktop or laptop is not functional. It takes forever to edit one item in inventory; forever as in you're lucky if it ever loads or even saves. The POS on the iPad frequently crashes, the bar code scanner often doesn't read items without a restart, and I can't add departments and sub departments without accessing the dashboard, which is already subpar. We spend so much time working through the unknowns that it significantly cuts down on our productive time. Just like with most businesses now, including Internet, there is simply no guarantee of service. I would be out of business if I ran my business this way! Can't wait to get out of my contract...which ends in 12 months!!!

Got the system almost a year and a half ago. Hoping they would have EMV built in support. Every time I call them. Same answer very soon, four more weeks, or waiting on approval. I lost $3000 on chargeback. And they still have yet to come up with the solution. If there's anyway to sue that I would because of the amount of money and time I lost.

Utterly horrible. If you want to lose business buy this system!! It constantly crashes! It has cost us literally hundreds in lost sales because our POS was down. Also, you will NEVER get out of the contract. We haven't used their system in over a year and STILL have to pay monthly. Garbage. Total garbage.
