Confusing Terminology

They use confusing and conflicting words such as: Investments Accounts Goals And need to provide clear explanations that explain what it is and what it isn’t and how it fits into the lexicon and what those might mean in a lined account, both within Betterment (spousal) as well as external account. Please leave out marketing hype. I need consistency across platforms (web vs. app) and data pages and internal articles.

I started the signup process over two weeks ago and my account still doesn’t work. They asked for some clarification, I sent it, and still nothing. Now I’m starting to worry this is a scam and I just gave them all of my personal info.
Horrible customer service
LOCKED OUT MY OWN ACCOUNT
I have been locked out of my account for 3 days now I have emailed twice. And sent a Message. I have called over a dozen times to only be told to emails them and then it hangs up on my face. It says it takes up to 3 days for a reply or call the number provided and it’s the same cycle over and over again. I do not recommend an app that locks you out and you basically have no other means of login in.
