Doesn’t Work

I have several reservations at BW hotels. Each time I try to do anything on the app I get the circle of death - that’s all it does. If I can’t book, check in or out on the app, what’s the point. It’s completed garbage.

From a Platinum Member - I’ve had this app for a number of years. It consistently rejects my attempts to login from mobile devices and I have to go through the hassle of resetting my password. I just did this again, May 2019. I inevitably have to end up calling best western to make the reservation which is OK because the rates are generally less over the phone and they are on the website. The only way I can get into my account reliably is through my web browser. And lastly, the app is “portrait only“ which stinks on my iPad. How tough can this be in 2019? Update: July 2019 - After numerous attempts through Customer Service, who are always very apologetic, to “reset my password” I can only access my account my account a short period of time before it no longer works. They suggested using my membership number, which is not exactly in the front row of my fading brain cells, but to no avail. I still have to phone the reservations number to get a room. Maybe they feel it adds a nostalgic personal touch. I hate to credit them with one star when my experience has been more like one candle.

Why have an app that does not allow you to long in? Can input your user name but no place for password! And password help is useless! I use a iPad so it should be easy. I just move on to another hotel or use the www. on line site.

The login bar doesn’t ever ever ever work. You just lost $600 in reservations because I can not use your app. It doesn’t work. Again I just took $600 in fall 2020 reservations to a competitor because I could not use this horrible, updated version of your app. I have used older versions of this app for the last 5-6 years. Again, fix it if you want my money.

I like Best Westerns but they need completely overhaul their app. Absolute Worst Lodging app available today. Doesn’t let you log in using an iPad. Have to input credit card and billing info every time even though I click the button to save the information. Much quicker to just call or go to front desk.
Not able to login using email address or member ID

I know both my email address and member ID number as well as my password and it still will not recognize it. I have to use a browser on my phone to login and mire everything.
Worst app wont even save cc info for future reservations

Underdeveloped app -Map search is horrible. Always zooming in the middle of the sea. -this app wont save credit card for future reservations. -customer service is terrible when addressing issues over the phone. -BW will bump your “platinum status” or any orher status down without notifying you.

I can see that I have a reservation..I can't ever actually loaf the reservation. The dial just sounds and sounds.. No info about my reservation. Every other hotel app works. Hire a better developer.
