Max 4 cameras

Joelfreak

There is room for 6 cameras in the app, but you can only add up to a max of 4 cameras to view at a time. The app crashes consistently. Rotate the device you are viewing the camera, and part of the camera is not viewable. Many bugs in this app.

Decent.

One request, please allow us to hide the menu in landscape mode, while sound is on. It obscures the camera feed.

Gave it two months and one update. Still bad.

I have two cameras. The cameras themselves are fine, as long as you aren't terribly interested in what they're taking video of. App needs to be restarted every 15-20 seconds in order to connect. (That's SECONDS, not minutes). It's not like this is cutting edge technology. It's a freaking IP cam! No excuse for how bad this app is. The app makes the cameras worthless.

Not great

Vinnie444325

Took a while to connect to the internet. Had to connect with Ethernet first to set up camera before it would connect to wifi. After unplugging and moving to permanent resting place I had to reconnect all over again. This time though I was able to find the camera on the network so connecting was faster, but still frustrating to start again. Once the camera was connected I was able to pan, tilt, listen, etc. But when I tried push to talk it crashed and I had to reconnect the camera. Another thing that would be nice is if you are using sound and you are in full screen landscape, the overlay should disappear. Takes away bottom portion of the screen. This is removed when muted, why should it be different otherwise? Also for anyone trying to connect the camera to another app, I was able to find the camera runs on port 81. From there you can have access to an admin panel to see and set advanced settings.

Doesn't work

Thegreengiant07

You know it's horrible and yet you still sell it!

Absolutely horrible

Boom da Boom

For the $150 the camera costs, you'd think the app would be somewhat functional. It's infuriating how often the app freezes. Unless you're on the lowest resolution, good luck moving the camera without it stalling for 5 mins. The camera might be able to hit 1080, but you'll never see it because as soon as you switch to that resolution, surprise, the app freezes indefinitely (even on wifi). What a sad waste of money.

Not useable

Db8078

Don't buy a Bayit camera and expect to use this app. Maybe get 10 seconds of video before it freezes and you have to reset it! JUNK!!! Scammed out of 50 bucks for the camera!

Was great until new U-verse gateway

JaeCee

This worked great until we had to get a new U-verse gateway. Bayit cam doesn't allow for wifi passwords with special characters. U-verse gayeway doesn't allow for passwords WITHOUT a special character so now I can no longer use camera. That's beyond stupid. Common sense says good passwords have special characters. And in our case it's NOT an option -- this needs to be fixed immediately. I've sent an email to Bayit and we'll see....

IOS10

The new update has broke my ability to use my cameras on apple products without them freezing doesn't matter what I try to watch them on they freeze to the point I can't use them.

Not worth it even if they paid me!

Jetpilot4u

If you enjoy aggravation, then this cam is for you! Freezes, crashes and no motion activated recording. Worthless junk. No tech support. You've been warned
