Videos always crashing! Have deleted and reinstalled a few times with same result. Used on two separate iPhones with same result.

App overhaul coming soon as promised??

I signed up for the summer session of Barbri. I’ve seen the original version of the app and wasn’t impressed. However, the website says that “prior to the beginning of” the summer session, a completely revamped and overhauled app was to be released. Are there still any plans to update the app in the next few days? I will change my review upon delivery of the new app, as promised.

Terrible. It’s slow, not loading, not working, not intuitive and why would there be no option to take tests on your phone? Ridiculous. Why would you even make an app if it’s so not useful. We pay so much money for this course to get this? Wow. Shame.

Gets the job done, but needs improvement

The low scores are understandable. It’s clear this app hasn’t had a meaningful update in awhile and Barbri has the tools to do way better. With that being said, it gets the job done. I’ve never had trouble watching videos, viewing my PSP, or anything. Some of the more obvious tweaks they can do are allow students to download lectures on the app so they have option to watch on app while traveling, make it compatible with split screen features, and update the interface so it doesn’t look like an app that’s only meant for a phone.

I have trouble logging in and playing lectures without them crashing. I also cannot download audio or video lectures.

Fine for Watching Lectures, but FATAL Flaws

The app is fine for watching lectures, but is fatally flawed without the ability to multitask on an iPad (i.e., have the video playing on one screen with a word document or other app open side-by-side). The iPad has had this functionality for years, and the app is far behind; it hasn’t even been optimized for the new 12.9 inch iPad Pro which has been out for almost a year. Will most likely be sticking to the barbri website on my laptop, but would have loved to have been able to productively use the iPad and iPhone app

Not working

It doesn’t play the lecture videos. Just a black screen. Tried 20 times. I am already behind the schedule because of this. For 3 hours video i spent a day to watch and half of it was displayed. It is the second day and there is still error occurring

App doesn’t work as advertised

Before signing up, you should know that Barbri's app doesn't work and on-site lectures have tech difficulties (for example, Tuesday's lecture -- day one-- took an extra half hour because the live stream wouldn't load). You must do everything from your computer connected to WiFi. You cannot download lectures to go, despite Barbri's advertising that you can. I wish I had known this when I signed up in the fall. I took for granted that Barbri would have the basics down, unfortunately. I have registered complaints, and the response has been "We are aware of a problem with the App at this time. .. I have not been given a time frame of when this fix will go out though." If you look at the reviews on the App Store, this has been Barbri's response for the past year. Evidently they've been aware for a while now and are not going to do anything.
