Bad changes to search functionality

Latest update changed how search functions. Instead of showing all subreddits with the keywords it pulls old posts and irrelevant subs. I just want previous functionality back. If I look up bananas I expect all subreddits with the word banana to pull up as it used to. I don't want to see fruits subreddits or Latin American subreddits that happen to have a post containing bananas. I want to see subs with the word bananas and nothing else

Search is broken

Dumb app.

I used to love this app, but ever since the update the search function no longer works. You are forced to type in the exact name of the subreddit in order for it to show up, completely defeating the purpose of the search function. Fix this and my review goes back to 5 stars.

Why is it that I can no longer search for subreddits using the magnifying glass. If I can’t do that, what I’m tarnation is that function for then?

I switched to this after the official app updates made it garbage. Unfortunately when you try to “open in app” for a YouTube video for instance, it opens the App Store as if you don’t have the YouTube app already (I do) and when I click open in the App Store it just opens the app, doesn’t go to the video I want to watch. Much more frustrating things as well.

Best reddit app for iPhone.

After switching from android this is the closest to its superior counterpart Reddit is fun on the play store. Would love for a version close to that. But this works
