Shocked to find that program miscounted a position. Loved the performance statistics but would prefer an explanation of how they are determined. Don’t believe both rolls are randomized despite the vendor’s claims.

Game is a total cheat! Been playing for years? Consider yourself a pro? Well the jokes on you! Get used to losing! Dice completely favor the AI in expert mode. Gets exactly the rolls it needs, when it needs them... and you get squat. Get hit with only one point covered? You will stay on the bar until AI closes the board. Hit the AI with with only one point open? AI will get out on the first roll. Leave a pip open and only one roll to get hit, AI will get that roll. Happens far too often to be a coincidence. Best is not to play this game, but if you do, expect to lose and try to laugh about how incredibly lucky the dice seem to be in favor of AI. The only redeeming quality of this game is the Auto Finish button so you can get it over with faster. Don’t care what the developer says... these dice are rigged!

Have been playing this for more than 5 years now. It will provide a great game to anyone at any skill level. The game analysis feature allows players to analyse their match on a per game or even per move basis. I highly recommend it.

This was my go to app for backgammon but I’m fed up with the “unexpected termination” with other players and the crashes with AI. What’s particularly annoying is reopening the app after a crash doesn’t put you in the same place where the game left off. The developer passes the buck to Game Center, and while it’s true I don’t experience terminations when playing “offline,” it's also true I don’t experience any crashes with any other Game Center game.

I've been playing This App for a couple of years or more. I'm convinced that there is no preference for the computer or me - there is as much chance of a lucky roll at a convenient time for the computer or for me. More importantly, the game is terrific. The pace is perfect. And gratefully I'm not addicted to it. Therefore, I'll play for maybe 30 minutes - or just a couple of games.

Great to play against other players or the computer. It's taught me to be much more aggressive and has improved my game. I also use the VIP package, so I can go back and analyze games I've played.

I have played jillions of games of backgammon in my 52 years. Real dice don't behave like this.
