I felt like the mobile version was not as simple to use as our wedding registry. I also did not like that it does not allow you to enable group gifting nor does it give you the option to allow to get the cash equivalent for certain items even though that would be really helpful. Other than that, the app had a lot of options and also lets you combine any other registry you create.

I was so happy to find a site like Babylist that allowed me to combine all my registries and make it a one stop shop. Worked great for the one off gifts. But my best friends went in together and got me a babylist gift card worth several hundred dollars with the impression I could get anything off my list. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way and you can only use it in their store. Now I’m stuck not being able to get what I need. Disappointed doesn’t begin to express how I feel. I wish I had never used babylist. If you use this site/app beware and warn people not to use the gift card option.

Easy to use and a little too addicting

This app is amazing! You can add stores that are not mainstream to really create something more about your families specific needs, wants, and personalities. I recently used it to get my friend’s gifts for her baby shower. You can reserve the gift online before buying it and then go back later to type in the number. If you somehow forget the items number, they have an option for that too! Absolutely no stress! I loved seeing that I could purchase her headbands from a special Business that she would have otherwise not have been able to put into any other baby registry. Again, allows you to really personalize it and add even special wants such as a fund for a doula, babysitting, dog walking, etc. Great and addicting app!

Why is this app even necessary?

I really hate that I had to waste storage on my iPad for this app. It seems really unnecessary. Also, the app is buggy. It changes to portrait orientation and won’t change to landscape, making it impossible to use with a keyboard. I have a larger iPad and hanging on to it with one hand while trying to hunt and peck type with the other is a huge pain. I guess I will only use babylist from my computer.

If I knew that the first card would only apply to their products I would have asked for them. They have significantly high prices in most items... new moms usually need to budget.... just saying...

So I personally loved using this app. I liked how I could add from anywhere so I could have exactly what I wanted on my list. However, a lot of people didn’t understand how it worked and didn’t reserve things before buying, so I got some duplicates.

Disappointed with the Hello Baby Box... Not worth the $5 to ship it

I paid the $5 for the hello baby box and when it arrived there was a big dent in box. I specifically put in my registry that I was having a boy but got a pink pacifier. Also the package was partially open when I got it. Not sure if it was tampered with. The pics on the website don’t look like what I got in this box. Not worth the $5 and waiting 5 weeks for it to ship. Customer service takes forever. They tell you the best way to communicate is through email but there’s a number to leave a voicemail. No live help.

Easy to use. I love the little articles that help you decide what to pick. I also love that they send you samples and coupons. Pretty awesome app. I’m a first time mom and this made my list so much easier. Love that you can add anything from anywhere.
