This app has a very annoying beep at the end of each answer It can be turned off in the mobile app but not on a computer

App is more like a college class rather than conversational I assume at the end of this I will be able to write a novella

The app look great in general but as soon as you try its just another money digger, if you don’t make the subscription you will not have the lessons no matter what… i try the first lesson then the second lesson crashes then i had to uninstall the app then after the app install again I couldn’t get the second lesson …
Waste of money

I was enjoying it for the first few months until the app stopped working, I tried updating it as well as reaching out to customer service but was never able to get the problem fixed. Ended up not being able to use it for the rest of my subscription (4 months). I will be switching over to duolingo, I have heard better things about their service from friends and associates

Far too long, no way to save

My family and I enjoyed Babbel at first, but as we progressed, the lessons became far too long, and with no way to save your work and come back later, we’ve been stuck sometimes up to 40-45 minutes trying to finish a lesson so that we don’t lose our work and have to start over. My recommendations: 1. Break up longer lessons into more manageable chunks to avoid student burn-out. 2. Develop a way to save work mid-lesson so students don’t lose progress if they run out of time. I am cancelling all subscriptions for my family for these reasons. If these issues are fixed, I would consider returning.
Poor recording feature

Speech recording on this app is not the greatest. It will not recognize words being spoken and thus gives you a poor score. This makes it very discouraging and there are often times I don’t use the app because of this.
