I can’t register as the site doesn’t work. I called them - they said they switched to a new web site and couldn’t get the registration page to work so they discontinued the offer. WHAT?!? Customer Service directed me to purchase the PRO version of the app or a developer versions by Essence. So much for the offer I got with my headphones.

I just talked to customer support and they told me this app was discontinued in November of 2014 and it will no longer work. They suggested I upgrade to their Pro App for $14.95. I had already paid for the in-app upgrade in the other app. When I asked if I would receive credit for my in-app purchase I was told to write a letter to them any maybe I'll receive credit. That answer raises my "awareness" of fairness.

So, i purchased a pair of $145 Etymotic headphones that advertised free use of this App on the box. I downloaded the app, which gives directions to Etymotic's site to register. And then, only then, did I get a message that support was discontinued a YEAR ago, and that I can't use it. Gee, thanks! This seems dishonest.

This is complete bull$#|t!!! They discontinued the app just to charge you $15. It's one thing to add features and charge for them, but to not fix an incompatibility with iOS 10 and charge for the fix is shameful! The app wasn't that great to begin with. Your expensive headphones go from superb quality to crap with this app. Sure, you sometimes could hear ambient noise around you, but it jumped in and out was very distracting. If I could give this app, negative stars, I would.

Recommend by my ENT, but I'm on my second hands free set. It has a tendency to break at the plug and no longer works as a hands free headset. Lame that they discontinued support for this app... In my mind it's no longer worth the price having to now buy an app for $15...

Unhelpful in the extreme. Pointless entry in the App Store. Prior versions were useful. Can't be bothered to investigate further.

This was a great app, very useful for measuring noise levels. Although they said this app is no longer supported, I wish it would still work.

BUT ETYMOTIC IS FAILING THEIR CUSTOMERS. it's not THAT much to maintain a PAID app.
