Simply doesn't work with iOS7

This app used to work fine with my etymotics headset. I received an email shortly before the release of iOS7 to wait to update, since the app would be broken by iOS7, but an update was coming soon. Once the update arrived, I upgraded to iOS7 and updated the app. No dice, it just doesn't work. The app recognizes that an Etymotics headset is plugged in (and brings up a dialog to alert me that it's unplugged, if I unplug it), but the mic doesn't register at all, and there's no playthrough. Glad I didn't pay for the upgrade to pro features, since even the basic ones don't work any more. Shoddy. Plus, I've written twice to the support address, and no reply. Maybe this is vaporware now?

Used to love this app- especially when working very early or late and wanting to hear my surroundings on the streets. Since the newest iOS update (iPhone 4s) the app doesn't transmit mic audio to headphones. It shows up on the meter but no pass through.

Not quite there

This app has been updated since iOS7, but still lacks the functionality and performance it had under iOS6. My main complaint is that you can't hear iOS alerts when the app is running. You won't be audibly notified if you get a new Message or email, for example. I contacted customer support several months ago, but never got a response and there's been no update since. This app is one of the main reasons I bought the Etymotic earbuds. It helped to differentiate them from the other offerings. I love being able to hear the outside world when I have earbuds in. I can only hope this app will get the attention it needs.

Can’t work out the bad reviews here, this app works on iOS 7.1.1 on my iPhone 5 and does what it says it will do. Not magic, but very useful to help me hear when out running with my Etymotics.

Still the best headphone app out there.

Not a day goes by without me needing to use this excellent app. It's probably my second best app of all time. Second to Shazam :)

This being my second experience with an etymotic product I am now sure that I will never have anything to do with another etymotic product ever again.

I can't actually rate the app, because Etymotic's registration page has been "coming soon" since I bought my headset two weeks ago. They also did not respond to the message I left them. Edited Jan 4: still no response from Etymotic about activating the app, and the registration page is now not found. Did you skip town, Etymotic? Haven't been able to take full advantage of what they promised, and I feel cheated.
