Flashing Red Bar .... Just too annoying

Like the idea but the flashing red bar is way too annoying. Also no way to turn the app off except to delete. Nice try but no way is the pro version worth the money.

Volume tends to be low but overall great app

I see the HF3, etc listed in this app's description. When I bought a pair of HF-5's, I was excited to use this app. It does work with the , however I'm wondering if anything was updated in the program to 'tune' it to these headphones as well? Also, as others have stated, this app is in need of a number of improvements. It's good for what it is, but it could be pure gold if some more time was put into it to polish it up...

Using ER23-HF3's Made the mistake of paying for the upgrade in hopes it would make the free version better. It did not. To get anything have to make your audio sound like an old phonograph. In the office it will not pick up people but will grab the clicks of keys and mice. Even when people are talking at the desk behind me it only magnifies the clicks. This is with mike cranked up to where my music is always toned down. Really needs to filter for vocal range, dropping music when a bottle is opened, chair squeaks, hangs up phones, etc.. is just plain annoying. Auto is what really frustrated me with this product. It could not reliably Filter the GPS from road noise. Sometimes it would catch the voice and magnify it and other times it would get ignored. You can not get much more simple then that. Using this just gives a false confidence that will get you in trouble.

I paid for the upgrade hoping it would fix the fact that every time I turn on the Awareness the app crashes on my iPhone 4s, but that was a mistake. I worked the one time, but now this app will just go to the iTunes grave yard. Maybe a fix will come out. When it did work it seemed to work ok, but I did not test it near a group of people.

I love my Etymotic headphones and had high expectations for this app. Unfortunately it does nothing but waste space on my iPhone. Don't waste your time or memory.

I'd like to point out that this app is not exclusive to entymotic iems and works great with my klipsch image x10s and audio technica ath m50

If you own their earphones or any noise canceling earphones, you must use this app! It allows the real world in to let you know what's going on on real time. I use auto pause to pause the music while the mic captures things like car horns, spouse yells or fire alarms. I wouldn't use my HF-3s without this app in the background.
