We use this in busy places to help my father in law keep up with the conversation

My husband lost his battle with small cell lung cancer but for the last year before he died he was completely deaf due to paraneaplastic syndrome, this app was a huge help we could all talk at the same time in the same room or on the other side of the country .

This app is a lifesaver for our family with our deaf son. It enables him to carry on his normal life as well with the outside world. Thanks Ava!

First month of signup is free, then they want $30 monthly?? Do they not know who they’re marketing towards? I am deaf, and have been using this for 2 weeks. I am utterly disappointed that they would want to charge $30 monthly for deaf people to have accessibility. The app captures about 50 percent of what’s being said, but helps so much. This app is not worth that monthly, and breaks my heart that they re more concerned about the cost instead of helping us feel included. Make it $5 a month and it would be the only app I’d HAPPILY pay monthly for.

I am paying for the app and just upgraded to new iPhone 10xs max. I had a 10. I am at the apple store and we have tried my high speed LTE service and the Apple stores WiFi. I also have fastest internet through Cox. Everywhere I try to use the Ava program I get a message saying slow internet causes problems in text appearing as nothing is being transcribed! Apple says their speed is very fast. I have written to support but get no help. When it works very good. Just a shame.
