Getting better! Just one more thing

DaKlutch

This app has made some pretty decent strides since i first got it a few years ago. More functionality becomes available with every few updates or so with is awesome but one thing that isn’t there yet that would be nice is subwoofer toggling. Being able to change to trim is nice but toggling it would be awesome. If you are playing music but the subwoofer is too much or its too late at night, turning it off without needing the screen would be awesome.

We need AMAZON MUSIC HD NOT AMAZON MUSIC WE NEED HIGH FIDELITY

Bigk4life

I see that amazon music was added but not amazon music hd. We want to get hifi out of amazon music not just TIDAL and QOBUZ

Works Well and Pretty Fast to Load, Overall Needs a Thorough Redo

Carnutzblues

OK, I am not having any connection issues with my RX-A770 like many folks. They need to focus on getting every update to work before releasing, or at least working to fix it in real time. My only real criticism is that it should be able to do EVERYTHING the handheld remote can do. Nest some menus if you have to, to get it all in there. I am constantly going back and forth when doing any changes to speaker settings, etc.... Otherwise it is head and shoulders above the Onkyo product, which was really slow to load and didn’t always connect. I had one of those for a number of years and it was pretty worthless compared to this. As a side note, Onkyo makes cheaper, but far more buggy receivers with historically bad HDMI boards and a poor warranty. Again yakking but Yamaha makes good stuff, at one time I owned the following Yamaha products: Tennis Racquets, Baby Grand Piano, Cassette Deck, Receiver, Motorcycle, Trombone, Electric Piano...pretty amazing

Only works when it wants to

Your Tubes tied

10% of the time when it actually finds your receiver it works like it should. The other 90% of the time when it fails to locate your receiver is where the problems lie. Doesn’t locate on wifi or if you manually Input the IP Address. One of the most frustrating pieces of equipment I own

Use to be good

matty v.

Completely useless. Used to use everyday but neither my wife or I are able connect to the receiver since the update. Get an error code and then it quits. Real shame, removes a core function of otherwise decent receiver.

Application is in accessible to blind users

Strawmangroup

This application is useless to blind users on an iPhone using the screen reader function known as voiceover. Yamaha engineers are ignoring the needs of people with low vision and people who are blind who rely on screen readers to navigate the software and applications that they make for Yamaha Home audio equipment. Yamaha is facing serious ADA federal lawsuits if it doesn’t get its act together on the silly IP based control applications. Moreover, these, and any other in accessible application, violate the Apple store agreement that applications must comply with applicable law.

Looking to buy a competitor as this product is bad

grearness

New iPad but app works so infrequently it’s not worth having. I wanted to play holiday music but XM requires a tablet or on screen. Look for something else

Get your act together Yamaha!

Worked great now garbage

Drock1134

Worked fine for 3 years and now will not connect, making most functionality almost impossible. Fingers crossed the product team actually reads apps store reviews. Would delete if I had a viable option. Please fix!!!!
