Amazing App

Lelloff

I love creating music with with the intuitive design of Auxy. The only thing I would want more of from this app would be more horn samples. The loops are easy to program and sound amazing.

The Subscription Is Worth It

Yes, it might seem like a lot, but it’s for the developers to grow and improve this app. It has a great community. I don’t understand why people hate the subscription, other than that they think it’s too much money, even though it’s worth it. If you want this app to be better, then you need to give money to the developers. Please get this if you haven’t yet! ?

It was amazing- until June 1st

Chimera Manticore

Auxy was an absolutely incredible app. It was my go-to for creating music. It let you choose from a wide range of free instruments (along with many, many others that you could pay to unlock) to create your own loops and songs, and let you export to many different places. This was one of my favorite apps, until the June 1st update. The developers have restricted the free instruments down to single digits, while making you pay for anything else. It’s become restricted enough that it may very well just be a paid app from now on. I understand the devs need to make money off the app somehow, but I would have much easier accepted ads in-app than this. The update is very saddening, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to find an app as good as this was. I hope the developers do something to change this soon.

It decent

In a recent update, they made it yet harder to get to the original sounds without paying, and you can’t even get them without paying if you didn’t have the app before the update. Also, they converted the one time payment to a subscription, and they straight up deleted access to drum kits that were available in the previous version. All that made my five star rating a one. Otherwise, it’s freaking amazing. And as a response to the developer response to Auxy’s copy-pasted response to some reviews, we were doing that before, you’re now asking us to do it more that people can afford. I love the app but can’t afford a subscription and neither could anyone else. I would love to buy the sound packs for a flat price, but I was afraid exactly this would happen. You said that two people are writing the app? This app is wildly successful and I think that a few people buying the sound packs can sustain you without destroying consumer trust, and mine. I’ve switched to GarageBand. TLDR, locking something that was previously free behind a paywall, especially if the paywall is a subscription, will always make things worse.

Where is Auxy Lite?

Please for the love of God give the good little program back that you took from us. Give us back our old sounds. Why all the added complications to the instruments? The app is getting more and more bloated as it morphs into one of those impenetrable VSTs. We don’t want that. The original app was good because it was simple and it worked. Now it is a massive glitchy mess with a paywall separating all your original users from their files. Gross! You went too far and ruined what was once a very good thing. Put it back the way it was.

I’m Shocked

I always figured I would have the hardest time creating my own beats. I write music and have always seen the engineering process as ridiculously hard. Tedious even. This app has made the process easy enough for me to do it myself. Thanks

welp you blew it

you had to go and make it subscription based didn’t ya? there goes the only part of the app anyone actually liked

This app is amazing

HuskyPlayz

This app has all what I need to make music like piano rolls some automation able to customize and edit the sample it is awesome and the core basics aren’t locked behind a pay wall this is I would call it true mobile music maker if it wasn’t this set back there are no piano keys no ability to hook up midi(thank you for putting ableton link) please add these things I said above and your music app can skyrocket Make sure to be able to qauntize it

Heart broken

Whatever happened to the old old auxy that was simple, lacked certain functions, but was great nonetheless, some of my best electronic melodies came from that....and now, that interface is gone and even worse...subscriptions? AND your gonna lock up my old projects until I get a subscription? This is an injustice

Had so much potential, and is going straight down

discoTITANFALL

I had the app back when all sounds were open to everyone except for the few exclusive packs you could buy. The recent updates, have completely destroyed this idea and have made this app almost useless as a hobby. The point of me downloading this app was to have an app where I had access to many different sounds to make music without paying a dime. The first update COMPLETELY OBLITERATED THAT THOUGHT. This left me disappointed but the sound packs I used were unaffected as long as I had them opened in a session, allowing me to still creatively make beats. The most recent update made all packs limited to around 6 available. This made the packs that I had opened resist to any editing or adding on to. Which made the app pointless. And I will simply not pay money just to do something for a hobby. There is no point in it. I’m sad to say I will be uninstalling this app very soon seeing that all I can do is now listen to my incomplete tracks. I hope the creators realize what they have done to this used-to-be-great app. The memories were fun and satisfying, but they are over.
