Works as advertised but the number of phrases and questions are somewhat limited.

This app has a huge number of typos and errors. Why can't they even proof read it? Proper accent marks would help pronunciation. Some reviews are written by the developer. They should the typos instead, and rerecord in cases where the narrator read the wrong words.

Spelling errors!!!!! As a linguist this is unacceptable!!!! The price gives the whole impression that there is a lot to the app, just bare bones if you ask me Wish that I could get my $6.99 back! Totally a joke!!

The updated version is even slicker better! Connectivity to the site is a nice way to keep abreast of developments from Mavro. This is fantastic. The audio feature has put this product in a class of its own. I highly recommend this product because it is the most complete product on the market. Thank you for making the EMSG so user friendly and keep up the good work.

I've had the fortunate opportunity to work with the owner and creator of the EMSG. The owner is an extremely passionate and motivated individual who works with integrity and obsession. I've seen the amount of thought and detail he puts into his app solutions and the way he responds to feedback. While working with Mavro on a project, I researched and evaluated dozens of different solutions and apps that would provide first responders (paramedics, nurses, doctors, police, and fire fighters) with the ability to quickly assess a patient's condition in a simple manner who are primarily spanish speaking. The owner's background as a paramedic prompted him combine inefficient ways of translating medical emergencies with new technologies such as the iPhone to create the EMSG. Once the research was complete, my team and I determined that the EMSG was by far the quickest, most reliable and most valuable solution for assessing spanish speaking patients. The EMSG was the first electronic emergency medical spanish translating app created and there have been imitations that have followed, however, the imitation apps do not have the same audio quality and research put into them. For example, the specific words that were used were derived from multiple translators. Although there are many dialects in the spoken spanish language, the EMSG uses words that would universally be understood. If you are considering a portable app for assessing emergency situations in spanish, the EMSG is by far the best one to download. I hope this helps. Paul Ho, MBA
