First of all, asking me to pay to block illegal calls and telemarketers (also illegal when signed up for do-not-call) is unethical when I already pay for AT&T service. They are legally supposed to block these calls. This app does not block any telemarketer calls. For that you have to pay extra. Furthermore, for the past two months the application will not open. I have the updated version. When I press the icon it attempts to open and immediately freezes. I am not even sure it’s functioning at all. So, in short: AT&T: “We’ll do the right and ethical thing but only if you pay us more. Oh, and it won’t work right anyway.”

Downloaded the app just to stay stuck on the first screen where it says “set up blocking”.

Update:1/19/22: still does nothing! 11/1/20 still does nothing to block calls

Still does not verify or block a spoofed I D number. Still Useless! ——— Update 6/27/2019: Still does nothing to address spoofed phone numbers. It even lets callers ring displaying my own phone number as their caller ID. Why can’t AT&T even block that! APP is nearly useless. . —— I paying $8.00 per month to have two phones protected and still spoofed numbered callers get buy trying to sell me medical braces for Medicare! It hasn’t blocked a single number yet. I must block callers manually. This is no different than the iPhone manual call blocking already part of my phone’s iOS. This is just another AT&T money shakedown...just empty promises of what they should be doing for free ?. I intend to cancel it after another month of poor performance?

Blocks about 90% of the calls. It would be nice that it block spam messages also.

This app 100% has no use because only blocks calls tgat you either block in the phone app or in this app. If it says spam risk or telemarketer then that dang call had better be blocked, period. App is worthless because you have to manually block everything

AT&T has been very professional every time I call IN Regards two the situation! that I-Might Be Having. I am also Disabled and they Speak Very Clear And slow they’re never in a rush to get me off of the Phone OR Make ME FELL LIKE I’M Too Much FOR THEM I’m VERY Glad too BE AN AT&T Costumer AND SO IS MY Mom.
